...So let me get this straight.

We have hired Cam Cameron to be our OC. Cameron has coached in the NFL and coached several future HOF QB's.

He has been to every practice. He has watched and coached Harris and Jennings for the past year.

Yet, we have fans who have never coached and never been to single practice telling our coaches who the starting qb should be.

When you really think about it...it's about as dumb a$$ as it gets.

I know, right? I wonder if other fanbases advocate suicide like posters ITT do.

I like to think the only reason Welter was removed from the middle LB position was because of the fans screaming that beckwith just needed playing time. So nothing wrong with fans wanting harris getting Real game playing time when the starter is not very good. i think the fans got the first one right why not try the same at the QB spot?

you are missing the point FLO. when fans were screaming for beckwith to get on the field, you didnt see beckwith blowing up his social media with inane tweets. the dude busted his arse and EARNED a starting spot. harris should take notes.

Everyone knows that Les Miles is clearly trolling the fans and so the louder the yell for Harris, the more adamant he will be in making sure he does not see the field.

This might not be the most ignorant post ever, but it is in contention for that honor.

If true that explains many things including the shitty offensive output.

lulz. so many melts because people can't get past the first sentence. sarcasm, how does it work?

if you think don't think harris not getting in games has nothing to do with him acting entitled bc fans tell him he should be starting, and his ego getting too big for his own good, then you clearly have not been paying attention.

He may know the offense but does he know it well enough to confuse the defense on the other side? No is the answer, I think starting him at auburn was ignorant on the coaches part and shouldn't of been played out like that though. They should have played both guys maybe put Harris in when we need to throw the ball but not just on 3rd and long obvious pass play. Say Jennings gets to the 50 yard line insert Harris to get us the rest of the way?? Something diff should of been done all year I agree with that but it's not easy bc you only have so many practices/reps to practice these plays. Also the gameplan for A&M proved that we should have ran this offense differently all year. If miles wants a real pro style offense then he needs to go up north or west or texas and find a QB that can run it. If he wants a spread QB then they should run that offense and not force these kids to come in and do something they aren't familiar with or at least not their first year. We should of ran some kind of read option with Harris this year mixed in with the 2 TE offense and run play action off of it when the defense is sure we are running the ball. But we didn't and we suffered for it.

yeah i disagree.

I think it is MUCH more likely that they just decided to shite Harris down for the year.

They gave hime a chance to start, it went miserably, and decided that more time in the program would do better than meaningless shitty snaps.

They weren't going to bench Jennings twice, and I think consistency is better than any kind of rotation.

I ain't reading all that shite.

But the obvious answer is NO, Brandon Harris is the reason for Brandon Harris not getting more playing time.

Why is this so hard for so many idiots to understand?

If the guy was the second coming of Joe Montana, he'd be starting by now. But he's not, so he isn't. Making him play in games will NOT necessarily translate to LSU suddenly becoming an air-raid offense. Just because Anthony Jennings hasn't shown much promise, doesn't mean that Harris must be great.

if leslie were to bench every person that played poorly against auburn we would have had to forfeit against UF.

you're right, Jennings was consistent; consistently awful.

I do hope that harris does bust his butt and is hungry to be the leader of this team. I heard the new florida coach on the radio out here and he said the reason the alabama QB's were so good under him was because they had the drive. They would come in early and stay late to learn the playbook. Is this maybe what Les is doing wrong?

I would hope that Les does not have to "do" anything to motivate a scholarship athlete to bust his arse and the player would be able to motivate himself.

The OP is agreeing with this if you actually read it. All accounts close to the locker room say Harris isn't some cancer but he is acting a little too big for his britches. It's not a stretch to assume that at least partially comes from half a fanbase telling him he's a finished product and doesn't need to put in the extra work.

Brandon Harris should not be tweeting that he knows the play book right after Les Miles goes on the radio and says BH doesn't know the playbook. I looked at my roommate when I saw that and said BH won't be playing another down this year.

Agreed. Also look what Saban had to say about his players after SEC Championship this year. He was talking about his Senior QB, about how he played almost all the positions on the team in the hope that some day he will get a break. All that time he was working hard on this skills and not going around tweeting about not getting a chance to play QB.

A good player has to be humble and earn respect before he is put in a position to lead.

I think this year was more of a miles way of humbling the kid!!!
