Key reminds me of a Randy Gregory clone. He is 6'6" and lean, fast but not a burner, plays with great hand movement and punch that makes offensive linemen look silly. He will be the real deal.

His hands have been going to anger management...I think his hands will be a lot more civil now.
On a serious note, I have a feeling that this guy is going to be a special player. We will all find out soon.

You stupid or something?
He probably is, but "violent hands" isn't something that most of us would think as being a plus in football. Actually, I can't think of anything where they would be good.

Why wouldn't violent hands be good? Do you understand football?

I played college football, so I would like to think so. Violent hands is probably something that they teach you in the NFL.
ETA: To be honest, I know people that have never played a down of football that understand the game better than me.

Oh sorry. I played a little ball but not college. I've been getting back into it and studying film a lot lately. I think Key's hand placement and usage is something than can be called violent. He has a tendency to throw blockers around to leverage himself. It's quite impressive. If he had more muscle and mass in HS he would've been the #1 WDE.

When I heard this my mind went straight to Lawrence Taylor... If he's anything like LT... Daaaaaaaaammmmn.
...I sure hope McNeese doesn't have a QB that looks like Joe Theismann.

I loath fantasy threads like this. It reminds me of the frank Herron is a beast stuff from last year.

Just where in the hell are all of you touting Keys speed, agility and hands getting this from ? High school film? Geez all of these "he reminds me of" speeches. You damn sure are not at the practices and if you are listening to coach speak well there is no help for you. Let the kid play and we can discuss his holy attributes at end of the season.

The coaches, AND his teammates, are all VERY high on him, that is the truth!
Scary to think what another year in our program will do for a guy like this, as there is no doubt that he will only get better as he lives in a college weight room and adds quality strength and size.
