I'm not a CJJ fan by any means but that wasn't on him

Mickey's play at the end of the game is the cherry on top of his shittastic performance the past few weeks.

He should make them practice free throws more.

And who is responsible for coaching them?? Doesn't it seem like a pattern by now? How is that not on coaching?

Missing those free throws had nothing to do with practice

You are crazy, jones is laughably bad, they need to get him out so he doesn't ruin our season next year with the incoming studs

He can't make the free throws for them

They're damn division 1 college basketball players. You can't miss 6 fricking free throws in a row on the big stage then cry "but but the coach!"

Yes, they are fricking division 1 players, yet they are running around in the last 10 minutes of games like they never played organized basketball before. CJJ just sits back and allows it and calls no timeouts. It falls squarely on his shoulders since it has happened time after time when they seemed to have the game in the bag.

Jones is not a good coach, period. Watch all the decent coaches use their timeouts effectively. Hell if anything these timeouts would give the 6 man rotation a blow.

We were in a position to win the game at the end with the free throws

Mickey choked

Credit for wins and blame for losses. That's what he signed up for. He's not a good in game coach, it's that simple.

Come on man, I would agree with you if this shite didn't constantly happen. They played street ball the last 10 minutes of the game and set up nothing in line of plays.

It is on the coach to reel in his players and he never does. The frustrating thing is that this team has more talent that a lot of teams in the field. That falls on coaching who cannot get the best out of his players. CJJ is clueless in those situations at the end of games.

Really, the team never milks the clock with a big lead late in the game. They have no clock awareness, and that comes down to coaching. Anybody that thinks the team is well coached is delusional.
