Has LSU at 9 and said LSU isn't winning the conference because you can't do it with a run game and defense alone. Implied LSU could plausibly go on a four game losing steak in november.

While anyone close to the program would think this was a crazy prediction, it's not far off from the outside looking in.

I think non homers are on a wait and see status.

Yeah he had Bama and Tennessee ahead of LSU. Whoever comes out of the West is winning the SEC. I just don't think Tennessee can win the whole thing, Jousha Dobbs is the most overrated QB I have ever seen his stats were not that much better than Brandon's last year yet supposedly he is a great QB.

It blows my mind when I see LSU fans who feel some dynamic passing game is on the way.

NEWS FLASH!!!

SAME QB AS 2015
SAME OC AS 2015
SAME HC AS 2015

EQUALS

SAME RESULTS!!

You have to make a change to get different results

"I’ve never bought into that. “Baseball’s too complex.” Really? A third of the sport is from the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic is not been known, in my lifetime, as having, you know, world-class academic abilities. I mean, a lot of those kids come from rough backgrounds, and have not had opportunities academically that other kids from other countries have. Baseball’s like any sport. It’s mostly instincts." Colin Cowherd

Why should anyone care about what that moron has to say?

I've been listening to a bunch of football betting preview podcasts and numerous sharps have come on and said LSU is a serious National Championship contender. One went as far as to say the metrics of this team stack up pretty close to the 2007 and 2011 teams.

He is absolutely right but LSU coaches must be idiots to run the same offense as last year.

IN 2013 we had the same QB, and HC as 2012.. Yet our ppg went up 6 points and our yards/game went up about 80.

It's ridiculous to say that 2016 LSU offense will equal 2015 LSU offense because it's the same QB, OC, and HC.

Everyone is a year older/wiser/more experienced.

I'm not necessarily expecting a "dynamic" passing game, but it will be our best offense since 2013.

It's human nature to revert to old habits when under pressure and Miles is human. November will tell.

Yes, how dare a paid Sports Journalist share a personal opinion about LSU that is not 100% pumped in from Sol.

Oh, the shame and horror.

You are really full of ignorance. I see it all too often with you.

When Miles has a veteran QB he has shown to open it up and trust him.

LSU returns 18 starters, far more than most teams. That experience alone makes LSU a better team than a season ago.

9 starters on offense return (2 starting linemen were Freshman All-Americans.. who only have gotten stronger)
9 starters on defense return

LSU adds one of the best DC's in the game. Massive upgrade.

Orgeron in his first season with LSU took LSU from last in the SEC in sacks, all the way to tied for 3rd.. and that was with one less cupcake game.. (cancelled game) He is now getting his guys in.. as well as adding more depth to the D-line with Valentine.

Mettenberger as a first year starting JUNIOR pretty much had the same stats as Harris who was a first year starting true SOPHOMORE.. This will be Harris' 3rd year in the system.. He should make a natural junior leap.. Harris actually had 1 more TD, and 1 less INT, and he had 1 less cupcake game he could have padded his stats some than Mettenberger.. Both had low completion percentages, but both flashed their talents every now and then. Haris made a couple of really good throws against Bama. He made some poor ones. He had one of his best games against Florida's defense.. Harris also played injured with a Sports Hernia.. you could clearly see it affecting him in the Bama game.. it also limited his mobility to escape pressure better at times. Harris was what should be a 10 win first year starting Sophomore.. That's pretty good. He has added tremendous healthy weight this off-season. It's very noticeable.

Speaking of adding weight/strength, Moffit said this is the strongest team LSU has had in his tenure at LSU.. and the leadership is the best since 2011.. This speaks to so many elite Seniors finally returning for once.

LSU really has an absolutely loaded football team. Think about Dural and Dupre top 2 round nfl talent.. followed up by a 5 star guy in Johnson, who probably isn't even the backup to them.. Think about John David Moore, the fullback the national media raves about.. returning healthy for a senior season.. Senior tight ends returning.. then you have the best player in all of college football returning as a Junior, and he's backed up by another 5 star talent who showed how much of a badass he was last season by leading in YPC.

There is a massive difference when Miles has a QB in his 3rd season.. than starting underclassman.. LSU has 2 quarterbacks with starting NCAA experience I believe.

But yes, coaching still matters.. but experience with talent is also very very important.. LSU has both with balance for once in a long time.

Some of you are buying the hype too much. That seems absolutely logical with how the season ended last year.

LSU has as much experience as a long time.. Not sure what was said last season, but it was irrelevant because they still had a very young offense..

Miles has shown he will open it up more when he has a veteran QB he trust.

It's not just Miles.. Look around other examples of SEC quarterbacks. Many that struggled first year starting.. went on to significantly improve as a Junior. I believe Arkansas had a recent QB do this.

Dak Prescott as a Redshirt Freshman had a very similar stat-line to Brand Harris as a true Sophomore.. and he had a college QB guru offensive coach.

Harris actually had a higher QB rating than Dak and again Harris missed an entire game versus a smaller school at home..

So just stop being ignorant man. Experience matters as much as anything in college football.

Since you can't comprehend or notice that.. then you can't be helped..
