This! And the media hasn't put it all on Harris either. With that said hitting the easy 10 yard routes and not forcing the wr's to make tough catches have to start happening. There we're a lot of throws well 5-6 throws that he's gotta hit. If he does the dynamic changes a little bit. This team should have a lot of motivation moving forward. There should be some pissed off Tigers

I'm not saying stick with him, he is a bad fit for what our stubborn coaches want

I feel badly for him too. He's not a bad fit for what the Coaches want to do here, I think any QB is a bad fit for this clusterfrick of an offense.

Ross Dellenger said Harris had 5 bad passes out of the 21 attempts during his film study. He said some of those were still catchable though. I think your 70% is hyperbolic.

I never said the passes weren't catchable I said he sails the majority of his passes which leads to receivers getting hurt. He got Dural fricking killed last year in the Ole Miss game that ended his season. Need any more facts?

I think Alan Risher knows a wee bit more about the QB position than you do.

You think the back up QB is the answer. Again.

It has never been the answer. Wise up pal.

And he knows what about Etling?

The point isn't that Harris is infallible. The point is that, like every other instance in Miles's career at LSU, the backup is not the answer.

They have had 3 yrs to develop Harris. It isn't all his fault but missing open receivers; failing to see open guys and that last INT is all on him end of story.

He's been learning from Whitfield Jr as well... He should have at least improved in the accuracy area. It's a mixed combination of Harris and coaching being bad.

Again you are too stupid to debate. Do you honestly think etling can be any worse. It's not about back up it's about maybe just maybe providing a spark. Give him a shot if he does no better what have you lost?

Miles would have to bench or make me kneel it like mettenberger. Y'all recall that?
I'd along the rock and show what I could do and say frick his offense.

The problem is that he really may not be that good or his talents have not been worked on well.

Scruffy's ole lady (who knows zip about football) thought he looked abyssmal at the Manning camp.

Scruffy does not understand why it is so hard for Les and his staff to pull in a good QB when they easily pull in good WRs.

I don't feel as bad for him as I used to. I agree that it's not all his fault, by any means. But he just doesn't seem to have the field vision and decision-making ability that it takes to be a QB. A strong arm is not enough. Especially when you sail so many passes high. Time to move on to something/someone else.

Yes, yes I do. Jennings was worse, but again, I don't really fault him either.

Give the guy the shot that shows the most promise and put that guy in the best position to succeed. Sometimes - many times - the guy out there IS indeed the best guy on the roster.

if he had Jimbo or some other QB guru his whole career I'd have to think he'd be a damn good QB. This system has just ruined him (and a few others).
i don't know if any coach can teach you to not panic like crazy whenever there is a pass rush. Some people have all the tools in the world but just can't perform under pressure and I feel like that is what we have

Yes. No qb would be successful in this offense or under this staff.

Sorry but he is terrible! We need to make a change and move on without Harris. He might be a good kid but he ain't no quarterback..
