I personally think he is getting too much of the blame here. People who understand the program know where the real problem is, but I hate to see him getting picked apart on tv because they don't have the balls to say "LSU destroys qb talent"

I feel bad for the kid

I'm not saying stick with him, he is a bad fit for what our stubborn coaches want

Yes, but he has the opportunity for redemption. It's one non conference game. There are plenty of goals still on the table.

I agree.

If he had Jimbo or some other QB guru his whole career I'd have to think he'd be a damn good QB.

This system has just ruined him (and a few others).

Ifeel bad for him. Next time maybe the coach will give him a break when things are not working.

I do. He was good when we recruited him, but this coaching staff has proved for years that they know nothing about developing QBs.

That's the issue. Is the coaches don't give him anything to work with so it results in him looking like an idiot when in actuality he probably has all that it takes to be a great qb. He is just getting fricked here

I feel bad for two reasons:

First, he seems like a really good kid. Second, he's being put in a tough position by the coaches who refuse to adapt to his strengths.

He is getting an opportunity to play that he wouldn't get on most D-1 teams. Not everyone is a great QB.

I think Harris is more of a problem than the scheme. With Harris at QB we can't run a wide open attack he's just not good enough with his decision making or accuracy.

I want nothing but good things for all LSU players, and I understand the frustration with Miles and Cameron and our terrible offensive scheme. I also have seen the opportunity for Harris to make plays, and he has not. He deserves some criticism. It is part of the territory.

Yes - I do. I never blame the kids who are playing for free. I blame the $4.3m a year guy who can't get his $1.3m a year OC to come up with a scheme that works for Harris.

This just can't be that damn hard. I cannot understand why guys who do this 24/7/365 cannot come up with a scheme that utilizes the players' skill, instead of forcing everyone into a scheme that is slow, outdated, and telegraphs it's plays to the opponent. Les is still trying to play dick measuring contest football where our 11 dicks are bigger than the opponent's. That's great if we are better than everyone we play. If not, we're in trouble. And guess what - we're not that much better than everyone else.

Not only Harris but Jefferson, Lee, Rettig, and Jennings.

He needs to open his damn eyes during the game. Things like this are easy to see.

I did until I saw him screaming at other players when they came off the field. That's a good way to get sacked every pass play when the lineman get pissed and say frick this guy.

I feel bad that people refuse to give the QB at LSU the benefit of the doubt. At what point does the light bulb go off and this place realize that this staff does absolutely nothing to put QBs in a position to succeed?

And you know this how? He had offers to play at every top school in the country. He would be a totally different QB with nearly any other coaching staff.

This, he has accuracy problems. Period.
