Anybody hear Gary Danielson talk about Devin White at the end of the 3rd Quarter?

Said something like, “We talked to him this week, and, man, he looks you right in the eye when he’s talking to you.” Then Brad Nessler said, “He sure does! I thought he was going to tackle me!”

White is the most intense player I’ve seen at LSU in a long time. Kid’s a beast!!

Former Auburn coach Gene Chezik said he was the best linebacker in college football.

He plays HARD! I wish the rest of the team played like him and Gage every play.

What Aranda is able to do with MLBs is nothing short of amazing. I know these guys are talented and natural leaders already, but Riley and White have been the backbones of the defense. If I were a top MLB, Aranda would be the first person I'd want to play for.

He's rocketing up the draft boards too.

I go back a ways; Mike Anderson has been the best linebacker I’ve watched at LSU, until now with White. The only linebacker that turned my head like White does was Lee Roy Jordan.

And to think he could be a great RB also...but he was meant to play middle LB.

If there ever was a beast that could play both ways (RB,LB) it would be this young man. Will go down as one of the greatest LSU players ever. Sad we only get 1 more year with him

If you go back a way, you should remember Michael Brooks .

Aranda isnt the reason White is great. Genetics and White are the reason White is great.

I completely agree! The kid is a stud! I would love to see (just for one play) him get a carry at running back. Imagine that full grown man running at full speed, lowering his shoulder into a safety or db! Lord have mercy! Devin White is a D11 bulldozer modded with two jet engines! Damn glad he is a LSU tiger!

I attributed his natural leadership and talent as well. Definitely a lot of that. Got to give some credit to Aranda too.

If we don't 'cruit a big bruiser at RB next year I'd be all for getting him some reps in spring ball for short yardage situations. He's too fast, too strong, and too damn big to not be used when we need 1 yard.

Not to mention it could get him in the Heisman race. He's going to be talked about as one of the best players in the nation by the end of this season. His hype for next year will be Fournette level insane.

Can you just imagine him breaking through a stacked box (happens often on short yardage situations) then being 1 on 1 with a safety in the open field. My goodness.

The kid has been DEVELOPED by Aranda. He would still be a phenomenal athlete but he keeps his eyes where they need to be and makes plays due to being coached up.
