All the people who bought 7 would now buy 18. Sell more jerseys.

Who is the last player who wore that jersey that was a difference maker? Hester? I think it's time to let the #18 thing go.

I think he wears #7 as long as he wants, and I'm sure that if he wants to wear Les's white cap when he goes to the sideline he'll do that too.

Miles doesn't determine who wears 18. Players vote on it.

Not a chance in hell. LSU wouldn't allow. Too much money dumped in marketing #7 jersey at this point.

He's definitely not changing numbers, but you're a retard if you think they wouldn't let him if he wanted to.

I think it will be offered to him in silence, but he will keep the 7 Jersey. I could see Jamal Adams or Lewis Neal wearing it.

It's time to put the whole 18 thing to bed and maybe win some freaking football games instead. Maybe throw in a semi-balanced offense that doesn't make me want to hurl myself off the side of the stadium in frustration as well.

yeah you right, more players who have worn #18 following Hester have had the worse seasons of the years they've played, and one of them Richard Murphy was injured and missed half, or over half of the season. So yeah drop the #18 crap. It means nothing. #7 seems like it has more going for it anyway.

1) He wears #7 to represent 7th ward.
2) Even if he was selected, I could see him deferring it to someone else to give them a shot at being in the spot light.

Yep.
