I just want the season to start. I don't care who starts at this point as long as they play well.

If you are comparing AJ to Mauck and Flynn, then you are either a compete troll or a complete dumbarse. Reading your post history, I lean towards the latter.

That just won't do here on the Rant.

You have to pick a favorite player. The fact that you have little or no experience in actually being in a college football program isn't any obstacle. You make your choice, preferably one that you have never seen in person either in high school or at practice. If he has been in a game you did see him through a fog of Natty Light. Then you decide that you and our buddies who have the same level of experience and intelligence that you do that all of you individually and collectively know more football than the LSU coaching staff and pepper message boards extolling your favorite and damming any competition.

That is how things are done.

Glad as I am to have these guys back, social media is not the forum to announce their return.

Yep. Can't imagine this will make coach happy. And even if this doesn't bother Les I still believe he'll serve at least a one-game suspension, which means Harris will start game one and keep the job as long as he keeps the chains moving.

inb4 Jennings is "Miles's boy"

It's a miracle that our QBs did as well as they did.

I agree that the oline and receivers could have played better, but some (even most) of the blame HAS to be put on the QB. I'd like you to honestly tell me what AJ did wrong/was bad at.

AJ was bad at the forward pass. Barely 50% completion percentage. Otherwise ok.

Yep. The Auburn loss wasn't credited to AJ but would've been a guaranteed loss with him running the show.

...and don't forget, with AJ leading the way we turned the ball over FOUR times to New Mexico State. I'll give that win to Harris.

Sorry but when there's absolutely NO progress made over an entire season it's hard to believe the light bulb will instantly illuminate. Slapping a ref's hand, getting arrested, and having no control of the offense also demonstrate NO leadership skills. The truth hurts! I'd like to see him do well but this isn't Fantasy Island.

This man speaks the truth. People seem to have forgotten his very poor accuracy, bad attitude, and the fact that his progress was nonexistent. Give someone else the start.

AJ has never had a bad attitude. Don't spread bullshite.

Kid works his arse off and his teammates love him. He was rooting hard for BH when he was getting snaps.

You can time in to ESPN right now and see AJ in action as they are showing the 2014 Bama game.

This.

I don't have a bad thing to say about AJ other than I don't think he's our best option back there. Root hard for the kid but you come to a point where you know it just isn't going to work out.

Rooting hard? You might want to go back and watch the MSU game. AJ was sitting down in a chair all by himself while BH was doing everything he could to bring the team back. He was NOT rooting hard for BH.

Any chance that the coaches saw him sitting on the sidelines, by himself, during the MSU comeback showing no leadership nor any support for his team and chewed his arse? Thus the reason he did not repeat that during New Mexico State?

I understand that he was down on himself, but he can't do that again. It came across as he gave up whether he did or not. Hopefully, he learned something that day.

It was a conference game and he was in their too long. I don't blame him for feeling dejected. NMSU was a cupcake game and it was early when he got the axe. Easier to be loose.

I understand that, but to say that AJ was "rooting hard for BH", I do not agree with.
