Seeing Bama win 2 in a row was tough enough... a 3 peat would be insufferable.

I am ready to play spoiler in T town next Saturday.

This. I hate Bama as much as any LSU fan, but if LSU can't make the SECCG, then ill pull for the SECCG winner to take it all. Even if its Bama.

I love the SEC dominance of the BCS era, and this is the last year.

If any of you who disagree have EVER bragged on the SEC ( ( (and who hasnt at some point?) then you have to pull for Bama if they make it. You can't have it both ways.

The way I see it, if the SEC continues to dominate, the day LSU gets back to the summit will be extra sweet because it will have been a longer, harder, more unlikely climb. I'd rather LSU be the ninth SEC national title in a row than the first in three years. Not a huge difference between the two, of course, since both scenarios are 100% awesome, but I certainly prefer one over the other.

Uh, no. It's a Bama streak now, not a SEC streak. When it was Florida, then LSU, then Florida, then Bama, then Auburn, then Bama..fine. Yay SEC.

They won another and on track to win another with no signs of stopping after this year. And on top of that, coming into this state and taking not only the state's top recruits but the nation's also.

frick the streak

bullshite. It's still an SEC streak. Bama has just been the best recently. There will be an ebb and flow. They may win more than us but it helps us in perception and polls when we take care of our business.

Quit being so damn butt hurt.

this SEC pride shite is hilarious. How many Bama titles in a row do you want? The SEC is already known as the best football conference. Do you think Bama not winning the title this year will magically change that?

You're right, brah. I'm butthurt. Please let Saban and Bama win title after title so you can celebrate your conference pride, and they'll laugh their arse back to Tuscaloosa with our state's recruits following right behind them. As long as keep it in the SEC, amirite?!?!

Well duh, we have to win. But if we don't, frick cheering for them.

List me all the positives and negatives to Bama not winning 4 out of the last 5 this year. List them.

If its ever a draw to make the top 4 for the playoff and LSU is in that discussion, well likely get the nod due to SEC dominance. That's enough for me. Even better if it pits us against Bama for a rematch.

I'm talking about this year. List the positives and negatives of Bama not winning the title this year.

SEC dominance, yeah ok. Tell me one big SEC OOC win this season. Who is the SEC dominating this year? But yeah, what LSU did in 2007 and what Urban Meyer did in 2006 and 2008 is really affecting football today.

Do you not think the SEC is respected enough or something?

Holy shite, am I really getting told I'm butthurt by my fellow LSU fans because I DON'T want Alabama to win ANOTHER national championship? Is this real life? I don't see Auburn, Florida, or Georgia doing this conference pride shite.

frick off. I'll go ahead and tell you congratulations if Bama takes home another crystal ball this year. Conference pride!

Great point. Thins is clearly a down year for the SEC in general in terms of dominance. But this conference still commands respect due to past dominance of the past decade. That credit will count when there are several 1 or 2 loss teams aiming for the 3rd and 4th spots in the playoff in the future.

So if I'm understanding this correctly, if Alabama does not win the national championship this year, this respect you speak of magically vanishes. Is that correct?

And if I'm understanding this part correctly, you're saying when the playoff committee gets together next year and looks at a 2 loss LSU team and a 2 loss Louisville team, they won't look at the actual schedules of LSU and Louisville, they'll say, "Oh wait, Bama didn't win the title last year. Let's give Louisville the nod"

Using your logic, all 4 playoff teams should be SEC schools because a SEC school has won the title every year since 2006. You guys get "the SEC has won 7 in a row" and "a school from the SEC has won for 7 years in a row" mixed up.

They can win as many as they can. When we beat them were gonna get a good bowl because of it and maybe a bid in the top 4.

It's good for LSU when we take care of business. FACT.

With our former coach, and 4 out of the last 5 years. Only a retard, in the most robust sense of the word, can't understand how this isn't good for LSU.

I will pull for Bama to get left out, and if they get in, I'll pull for them to lose.
