- Ranks 1st in the league w/ 69 hits & top 5 in batting average (.310) & stolen bases (20)
- 8th ranked prospect in the Nationals farm system

Great for him, definitely turned himself into a gamer with hard work. Also, did Verne Lundquist write out that release? Someone let the Nationals know that we prefer to be called LSU, not Louisiana State.

to be fair, people in the North (yes, I consider DC the North) typically ask me what LSU is when I abbreviate it. so I've grown accustomed to just saying Louisiana State University
