He also said LSU would be ranked higher than Georgia who he ranked higher than anybody else in the east and is his school.

He also said LSU has the chance to move up in the west. Don't see much of an argument against this so far. What do you guys hope for...better than the pigs I guess. Who cares, LSU has the chance to move up, what else can we ask for. If LSU beats Auburn, we will not be ranked last in the west.

It's not that crazy of a ranking. We very well could be last in the west.

I think I respect his opinion more than anyone on SECN. This dude absolutely knows his stuff, and although I don't agree with him ranking us 7th, I don't really have a good argument as to why we're any better than 7th right now. The cream will eventually rise to the top, but for now it's up in the air.

When he talked about the problems at LSU this year, he didn't point to Anthony Jennings; he pointed to the interior of the offensive line. LSU's main problem is absolutely line play on both sides of the ball, yet everyone thinks its on the QB. He's one of the few guys that actually knows what he's talking about.

Yeah, Stinch is a sharp guy. He is pretty even handed and objective. You can't really argue with him. It is just that kind of year and we are young. It could turn on a dime this weekend, though.

It's kind of silly to rank the west teams when we've all played so very few games against each other at this point in the season. The next few weeks should tell the tale as the west teams continue to butt heads with each other.

I personally tend to view programs over a few year period. And I'm not yet convinced that teams like Ole Miss, TAMU and Miss. State are going to end up being top tier West teams for a significant and consistent period of time. Sure, they'll win a game against us from time to time but until I see it last I don't personally consider them to be programs above us.

That is definitely only a snapshot look. I only see us getting better and better week to week this year being that we are so young.

Well, Miss State beat us, and all the others but Arky are ranked ahead of us, so all he is saying is that he thinks Arky would beat us, which is not a stretch to say. All that being said, EPSN is all about making money with hype and manipulation, so keep it real and don't worry so much.

This idea has resonated with me for sometime now it's absolutely possible. Can't remember such a tossup season for these games.

Ranking anyone at this point is completely pointless.

can't argue with that too much right now, but LSU has a chance to prove him wrong.
