Most gave him the benefit of the doubt in 08. Gave up on him in 09 and were back in his corner in 10.

Just to play devil's advocate this isnt true. Coaches change, get better/worse. Id say Miles has learned to pick better coaches to surround himself with. He also plays WAY more younger players now as well as makes better decisions when it comes to game management.

Not true. Most obviously LSU is running the kind of offense Miles truly wants to run. There was conflict with how Crowton wanted to run the offense which is why he is gone. Miles wants LSU to be a modern day Bo Schembechler's Michigan. Power running game and tough defense.

Also Miles has learned from all his mistakes. Each bad coaching hire has been replaced with a better coach. No more clock management issues, etc.

To say nothing has changed is ridiculous.

Better players and even better assistant coaches.
You have to surround yourself with greatness to be great! He's improving in that area every year.

I think most fans would be unhappy with some of the things in the past mainly the clock issues. He is not the same coach he has learned from his few mistakes

And some of have eaten a lot of crow about it - without reservation.

I was wrong.

But I hope to be a better man by admitting my mistakes and learning from them. Just spouting the same old shite when you've been proven wrong only makes sense to SOME people.

No, not the same coach. He's made great strides since midseason last year. He's turned his weaknesses Into strengths.

search my history if you would like. I was never anti Miles. I stayed out of that for the most part, but was pro Miles if anything.
