Multiple adjustments need to be made to the game experience in general.

Move the student section out from behind the goal. Students show up when they team is good just like the rest of the arena does. When the team is poor, neither student nor non student show up. Heck, a lot of students that go to the games don't even sit in the student section.

Opposite of football, they need to pipe in more music and greatly reduce how often the band plays. There is a reason the band is not prominent on any other major game you watch on TV when you return from timeout commercial breaks.

Quit being lazy with half time shows. I'm not necessarily saying blow the wallet open and bring in a ton of amazing acts. But geez, the host of the halftime contests last night didn't even know what the award was for the winner of the second contest. There's been games where the contests ended way early and the PA rattled off 3-4 minutes of straight advertisements while nothing was happening on the floor or on the screen. It's just lazy and unprepared. Take just a little bit of time out of your day and at least learn the script. Figure out a thing or two that gets the crowd involved. It doesn't have to be an expensive product, just a prepared product.

Aren't we getting an outdoor beer garden outside the the North Endzone of the football stadium? That would be great f

That's the word. You'll only be able to drink inside the garden area but it's a start.

I was told the scoreboard was in the works awhile back, but is there anything else planned? I'd be a little shocked as it would take years for LSU to raise the funds for premium seating and other improvements. We just allocate our money elsewhere

Still a new scoreboard alone will be a much welcomed addition. I remember when we got new scoreboards in multiple venues at once and were promised a new PMAC screen.

And I'm not allowed to say what the other one is just yet. It's something that should've been done a while ago though.

my favorite was the 1978-79 SEC regular season championship-clinching win against Bama at home. Dale had them drop an "SEC Champions" banner from the rafters before the game ended, and the place went absolutely ballistic. I've NEVER heard it louder - anywhere. Almost 40 years ago and I remember it like yesterday. Just magical.

it just seems too dark in the arena...was it always that dark in the stands?

would be so much better to have built a smaller stadium like Cameron Indoor. especially with out attendance.

The PMAC is awesome when it is packed and the crowd is in the game. The last game I remember attending, where it was packed and the crowd was into the game.. Was several years ago when LSU hosted Xavier. It was the year before Russell Shepard's freshman year (I remember he was on his visit and was at the game. The student section started chanting.. "russ sell she pard"). I wish we had a much stronger basketball program because when it is packed and the crowd is in the game, it is electric.

Yep, that was a fun game. Rueben Randle was also on his visit that weekend and we were chanting his name as well.

It can be a fun venue. We've seen small glimpses of it over the last few years (vs. Oklahoma last season; vs. UK in 2015 when they were #1 and undefeated)
