my brother and i had a few arguments during games last season, when i'd say "want a TD throw to Landry". I thought he could make catches that OBJ often dropped. especially passes in the endzone.

I love Landry. They're just two different types of receivers. I think Landry will go today... Hopefully! He's just a beast.

Catch Landry made vs Uga last fall was top 3 in our football history.

Underrated player.

If that was top 3, and the one vs. Arkansas was in the top 2, what is the other?

I still say OBJ makes the play when the play is there, but doesnt always create something out of nothing. Jarvis had a way of often creating something out of nothing.

No and I still think Landry is better as a pure receiver. Beckham has other intangibles and speed, he also returns kicks, but if I draft a receiver that high I want a receiver, not a kr/pr/wr. To many chances to get hhurt when you got a whole special teams bearing down on you looking to take you out. Plus you wear down quicker.

I know what you mean. I've always thought the same thing. Said all last year that Landry would go first. I look at Landry like Marques Colston. And Beckham as the wildcard. But I guess Beckham brings more to the table. Punt returner, kick returner, and can take it to the house at any time.

Landry was the better college receiver and probably the better overall true receiver (route running, hands, etc.)

But Beckham has better pro potential just because he's so athletic. Landry will be a very good pro though, IMO.

ETA: Not saying Beckham is only good because he's athletic.

Give me a break.

If it was a big 3rd or 4th down I wanted it going Landry's way every time.

The fact is we had the best receiving core in college football last year. It was amazing to watch both of them.

Why cant they both be good?

Beckham was drafted higher because he was explosive and made more plays.

Landry's time is worrisome, but i think he can over come it.

Both are good. Landry is one of my favorite players in the draft, but its easy to see why ODB was a top 15 pick.
