Alex Bregman is now 2-for-2, with an RBI. Gap double to RF, scoring Heineman from 1B after a walk. It's 3-1 Grizzlies, top 3. #Astros

Unbelievable. I really feel like he could help the Astros this year.

I never thought he would be ready this soon. Not even a year in. Just wow.
It helps his case that none of the other position prospects are ready.

Bregs is killing it. Only a matter of time before he's in the show.

Killing it. He is ready
I am all aboard the Bregs to the Majors train.....but ease it up just a little bit.
Everyone thought AJ Reed was ready, also. He sits 0-15 with 8 strikeouts in the majors. Let Bregman ease his way into it. He will get there in due time.

Agreed, and what should be nice is the Astros don't 'need' him to rake when he arrives. Should come in with little pressure, but yes high expectations as a 1st rd pick. He does not need to 'carry' that team, just do your job and contribute. Good situation for him to excel IMO.

Didn't hit for the cycle, not legit.

I've noticed that he has found a nice power stroke in pro ball. I realize he had a lot of pop at LSU, but I would say that he has found more power overall with the wooden bat. Dude is a gamer and will play a long damn time in MLB and then probably be a great coach. Total dirtbag, in a good way.
