I’m curious if they do this, are they going to make a portion of the outfield fence chain link so you can see into/out of the bullpen. This will result in the loss of some of the outfield fence ads

Boy there are some miserable sombitches here. You pay for bleacher seats you get bleacher seats. The box for as old as it is is still better than most. I personally pay for the best seat I can get. I hate out field seats and disabilities make impossible to see the whole game sitting on bleachers.

My biggest concern is that when they move the bullpens I'll no longer have front row seats. I'm in 103 row 1 and have been since it opened. If they move the bullpens and bring the seats in closer to the field I have a feeling they'll add "premium" seating like the rendering and not just move the current seats closer.

Hey grandpa, there are plenty of people with money that would like to pay for comfortable seating though it isn’t an option. “Personally I pay for the best seat I can get”- there are thousands that pay a similar price to chair back seating that would like to have actual chair backs at lsu sporting events (referencing football too)

So less room in foul territory now?

Exactly.

They are adding club seating with perks down the OF lines.

The home bullpen will be enclosed below the RF bleachers.

The visitors will be enclosed in the corner of the LF foul grounds at the very end.

The layout is not symmetrical.

Exactly. You aren’t going to be in the front row.

I will never understand the allure of swimming at a baseball game.

The “New” Box has been a disappointment from the start. They should just start all over and use Dudy Noble/Polk Dement for a blueprint. There is absolutely no reason LSU should not have the best stadium in the country, and we don’t even have the best stadium in our conference division.

I wonder if the club seating will be like a dugout. Feel like the club seating will block the view of fans on the first few rows of the bleachers.

No reason in 2024 to be sitting on metal bleachers. All seats in the stadium should be chairback. The ticket price should be about the location in the stadium, not the quality of the actual seat. This isn't 1962 or even 1992.

Maybe built into revit? Who knows

That looks like SketchUp. Architects rarely do renderings in Revit during programming, mostly just for certain features on CDs. I use it for a few renderings because I work start to finish in Revit.

The video tower is not being moved as far as I know.

100%. The fact I can’t buy seats even if I want too and people will say that expansion isn’t necessary.

If the outfield seats are raised for the bullpens wouldn't the Intimidator need to be moved?

In to add in that left field bleachers are STILL the same bleachers from the old Box. Source, Me. I seent it. Remember when "it'll never be ready in time" circa 2008/2009? Yeah, because they had to take shortcuts and use the old bleachers and 15 years later... Still there

In their defense, they’re still in great shape
