I love his release and the way the ball comes out. I bet he won't have much of a problem with touch passes.

How is it like Jefferson's?

over the top, both throw a pretty ball. I dont see why people assume it was an insult. All we are talking is throwing motion

Nega gonna Nega. If you followed LSU football you'd know the play was called b/c they anticipated Durals guy cheating on Landry. Get your facts straight and come back. There are tons of talking points you can use even if you don't follow the teams

Didn't assume. Just curious as to what mechanical similarities you refer.

he spun it well coming out of his hands. Ton of rotation

he had zero touch, which was his major downfall physically.

This alone would make them polar opposites as QBs. The TD was nothing short of a glorious 47yrd touch pass. If you check the slo-mo replay, the ball was dripping of "touch" as it sailed through the air.

His release is suprisingly crisp for a true freshmen.

i.e., if he was junior it would be exactly what you would expect

and, so far, many of those have been under pressure. Looks better than JFF's heaves and prayers.

You don't actually think they have similar releases. I refuse to believe anyone can have that opinion. Jefferson had a huge windup. Their releases are basically polar opposites.

The only comparison in this thread that has made much sense.

Omg... I thought you meant he had been released!! Like dismissed from the program

His release is absolutely smooth and quick, but his pocket awareness and escapability is his most impressive skills

I hope that he does as good of a job for us as Nick Marshall is doing for Auburn!

But still wonder a bit about the arching throwing motion versus the quick motion.

He has a quick release. Way quicker than Mettenberger.
