The wife will be fine. You should watch your drink though.

Cover your cornhole. Don’t walk on their sacred grass. The dudes will chap you. Look out for your sphincter.

I opened this thread specifically for the "Aggies are Ghey" jokes and references about covering your anus.

I am not disappointed. Well done.

The Republic is the best restaurant in town. Fantastic cocktails, great food.

Also, Republic > Porter’s not even close.

After the LSU win in 2016 my buddy (aTm grad) and I found some bar on Northgate. They had girls dancing in cages. I got really wasted. Good times were had.

…until the next morning came and I had to go to the hospital. It was an expensive celebration.

Great advice guys. Now how bout places to eat ?

LINK

Sodolak's Original Country Inn. 9687 FM 60, Snook Texas

It's just a short drive SW of College Station.

I've eaten there after Archery Tournaments at A&M and Texas Renaissance Festival.

Not fancy, but awesome food. (Great Country Fried Steak and Bacon)

DO NOT GO TO PORTERS! It is over priced and not good. I would recommend the republic but they may be booked up already.

If you want a bar to go to then I would recommend the angry elephant unless you want the college crowd.

I know a lot of LSU folks coming for this game. Ill be there as well. Always fun to watch the aggies suffer!

Sodolak’s is great, whatever you do, do not order a large steak. Way too much good food. I use to attend Fire Training at aTm, we’d hit this place every trip.

This. I have many Aggie friends here and they are all great. Two of them gave us their tickets to the LSU game and are still planning to take us tailgating and give us a place to stay for the weekend.

All steakhouses are over-priced, but it's absolutely a good meal, good drink selection and nice atmosphere
