We were in 304 and it was difficult. Speakers need to be put back into SEZ or just have surround sound.

Its not just you. The speakers at tiger stadium suck pretty bad.

It was made noticably worse by the fact that the head official was mumbling the whole game.

LSUs next set of renovations needs to be on fan experience. Speakers, instadium cell service, bathrooms, concourses all need to be fixed.

Thank you. Have season tix in 101, definitely a dead zone. Everybody thinks I'm crazy when I say I can't hear anything in TS. The music sounds more like a nightstand alarm clock speaker. Someone really should be fired for how much money they spent on that terrible of a sound system.

I debated starting a thread earlier. My seats are in the SE corner, and the clarity of the PA system is awful. During breaks when they introduce people on the field and such I can't make out a word that Borne is saying. It's worse when he announces after a big play or penalty and the crowd is very loud.

Yes, I sit in 416 and my dad sits in the suites in the new addition, I've sat in both seats and you can barely ever hear anything. The only time I can clearly hear something is usually when it's during pregame and they are playing music

Same section. Could barely make out anything the announcer said during the game. Particularly when they were doing introductions during timeouts.

Pitiful.

Section 101. Couldn't understand a word all night. Who builds a major renovation and doesn't plan for speakers anywhere?

Ummmmm....LSU?

Actually, they added new speakers to the North End Zone Scoreboard and dozens (if not hundreds) of new cell phone antennae when they built the SEZ expansion. As is typical for LSU, since these were put in place for the "little people" who sit in the actual open air stadium, the products and work were second rate and shitty. If you are on AT&T wireless (like most people), you aren't going to be able to use much data, but you can at least send a normal text. I think people with Verizon and T-Mobile can use data (internet, texting images) with not much trouble.

One of the things I think is really appalling and typical of Louisiana/LSU is the fact that the TVs mounted in the concourses that show the game to people getting concessions ARE STILL frickING TUBE TV's!!!!

Actually, until last season, the TV's in the seating area of Stadium Club West were still tube TV's. Absolutely ridiculous. Surely some high ranking TAF member has a nephew, brother-in-law, cousin, etc. whom he can enrich with a nice, fat contract to provide the TVs and installation.

Had the enjoyment of sitting in a suite on east side for the first time and (making the jumbo tron for first time) thought the poor sound quality was due to the suite acoustics but I commented to my friend how the speakers clarity was terrible

Im just fine with the current seats and im in 418. Before the expansion the volume was so loud it made my ears hurt.

I sit in the NEZ and can hear the speakers fine, but the quality is awful.

Any one complaining of not being able to hear seriously needs to get their hearing checked. After a game my ears ring for the next week.
I brought a meter to a few games and the sound gets way past hearing damage levels. Jet aircraft levels for a night game.
If anything the piped in stuff needs to be removed.
