So, it is a compliance issue. And LSU may indeed have to suspend him.

Yep. I was just told to not expect him to play against Oregon.

ETA: DISCLAIMER: This information came 3rd hand, so take it with a grain of salt. I'm not posting it declaring it's true or valid, only that it was simply told to me.

maybe he is well respected on the OT, where football isnt involved.

Exactly. Any "powerful" program that doesn't play in the SEC is a joke. Pete Carroll's run at USC was against the worst conference in the BCS. Easily. Hell, Oregon wasn't even that good back then.

I think Boone and Wright can easily fill the role on the outside, I'm guessing Gore will probably get the speed sweeps, may see OBJ early as well.

Lets not forget the Miami team of the early 2000's.

Those pussies wouldn't go .500 in todays SEC.

Not looking good according to Rosetta.

..."perhaps since Shepard arrived on campus in 2009, which could mean serious trouble for him in regard to future eligibility. "

TigerSportsDigest has learned the situation with #LSU's Russell Shepard is a compliance issue related to off-campus housing arrangements.

eta: IMO we could have seen the last of RS in a Tiger uni

This is not good for our passing game early on. Even all the 1st and 2nd year players are really good, we have almost no real game experience behing Randle. WR--which was already a question mark--becomes a HUGE question mark if RS can't play. Especially the chemistry between them and JJ.
