His point is all those guys on Bama's D Line that were wearing out our O-line were also 5 stars.

Everyone brings up Jacob Hester, one recruit that way exceeded his recruitment ranking. The fact of the matter is Alabama beats everyone because they have 5 straight #1 recruiting classes and their third stringers would be stars at most schools. Oh Eddie Jackson gets hurt, so lets move a 5 star CB to safety and take a 5 star in Tony Brown that is nothing but a special teamer on our team and insert him into corner. Alabama kills teams with their depth and the fact that you combine the best coaching mind with an all-star roster.

You can add the stars up all you want. Bama DL has been kicking our OL's butt for years.

I would bet the house on it....Hester was great at getting 2 to 3 yards even when nothing was there...he would not have gone for 284 against Ole Miss though. Two completely different backs. Fournette is a home run hitter that bats .208.... Hester, on the other hand was Tony Gwynn!

141 5 or 4 stars and LSU is next with 108. That 33 more than the next closest team. That is a whole starting line up. That is why Alabama dominates everyone in the 4th quarter. Every team is worn out, but Alabama has been rotating 3 deep with their 33 extra 5*s and then their best 22 5*s open the game up late. Happened to LSU every game since 2011 and happened last year in the championship. National Championships are won in February no matter what anyone says.
