Another dumb comment concerning we are one year removed from Zack improving a ton from 2012 to 2013!
Actually, the zack comment is what's dumb. We've had systemicly problematic QB issues since 2008, minus last season. You're pointing out the exception to the rule.

The comment I was responding to stated LSU doesn't develop QBs. That comment remains dumb considering the fact we are one year moved from a QB who developed a lot from his 2012 year to his 2013 year.
You are wrong too. Anyone watching Lee in 2011 knows he improved in the efficiency of his play to lead the SEC in that department.
Our QBs in 2007 improved as did our QBs in 06.
You guys seem blinded to anything positive for some reason.

We haven't developed an even mediocre QB under Les that wasn't NFL caliber. Russell, Flynn, Mett, two Saban recruits and a juco transfer, all started multiple NFL games. Les hasn't developed a Matt Mauck or a Rohan Davey. And Jennings clearly falls into the latter category. He's never going to sniff an NFL field, doesn't bode well for his future development under miles

Les is a hindrance to QB development and the running game with his bonehead need to impose our will.
Spread the field, it makes the running game more effective. Stop acting like your scared of our QBs ability to throw. That right there is a confidence killer, its really not rocket science.

Biggest regret of the season is that we didnt get Brandon Harris much experience and thats going to hurt us next year. If we're going to make a championship run, he will need to be the qb, but now he'll be making rookie mistakes like Jennings did this year.

Here's the reality.
A road win in the SEC west is always sweet. U take them however u can.

All the reality you need
quote:
Completion % - 48.8 - Jennings is dead last in the SEC
Passing yds- 1,460 yds - Jennings is dead last in the SEC
Passing efficiency - 115 - Jennings is dead last in the SEC
TD's thrown - 10 - Jennings is dead last in the SEC
INT's % per Attempts - .032 - Jennings is dead last in the SEC

This ^ is the problem. By the way, Bama is younger still than LSU. A lot of it comes down to coaching. I'd say CLM is vastly under-performing. You guys know it too.
Shut up Gump who in hell cares what you think. You know you where damm lucky to beat us this year. How is your double wide holding up.

The reality is time does not equal talent. Wen JJ had flashes of greatness. But fans are seeing it all over again with AJ.

Jennings has had 2 years in the system, and still looks like a high school QB. He doesn't have the arm talent nor pocket presence to start for an SEC school. Great run threat though.

And that comment was spot on, so to you.

Next year we will be back in business! Back to normal: 2-3 losses and spectating the SECCG.

The word out of Bossier City is that BH's parents want him to transfer. His coach at Parkway begged him not to go to LSU but BH really wanted to be a Tiger. But with Les' lack of QB development and having to ride the pine behind and obviously less talented Anthony Jennings why would Harris stick around. Will the Les lovers still love Les if Harris leaves? I bet yes and the badmouthing of Harris will begin.

2012 Mett to 2013 Mett. Cam showed a QB can improve in his system
Oh come on. Th difference from 2012 to 2013 was changing OCs and Stud was just awful. AJ has been in Cam's system for two full years, and he's regressed. Sorry, but there is no reason to think AJ is going to improve much before next year.

This is considered a rebuilding year and we were a few plays away from beating the top teams in the nation. If some of you aret no lost or newly spoiled fans, the politely frick off.
Ed O politely you are a fricking idiot!!!
You don't have to look back past this year to see the difference in what one player can make. Welter as much as he tried he is just not an elite level mike linebacker. Alumni, fans, students and media personnel called for Kendall B. to be inserted into the lineup instead of welter. All you heard from Miles is he doesn't know the assignments, not ready yet etc..... And while Welter started our defense suffered. Finally out of flat out necessity Beckwith started and now we have one of the best defenses in the county, just look what they did to TAMU 2 days ago!
Our QB play is the WORST in the SEC, a change is warranted but Miles is so stubborn he will not do anything until he is forced to change.

Yeah that's it, CLM doesn't want to score.
Dude we missed easy field goals that would have changed the number of possessions aTm needed....but don't say he doesn't want to score. We ran the ball like a beast--the problem is the passes are not there when needed deep in the red zone. That definitely needs to get resolved.
As for the late offsides call not being called, perhaps it would have changed things. Perhaps not. To play your game, had the 2 mailable field goals been made the offsides would have been irrelevant.
Why do people on this site insist on taking a solid victory and rewrite history as if CLM and LSU "lucked" into a victory. People did the exact same thing with the Florida game--only talking about the lucky interception we had, but refusing to acknowledge the 2 TDs returned by the Gators on special teams.

I don't have stats to back this up but IMO none of the coaches you mentioned would have left a guy with a sub 50% completion % in for a full six game stretch without trying something else.
