The thing is a 95-96mph fastball

I've never seen Eades throw this.

Not one stolen base all year? Not one sacrifice bunt all year? And 5-7, 155?

Nice batting average, but damn.

He touched 95-96mph multiple times this past season.

Edit: He usually sits 92-94mph.

Eades has first round talent, no freaking doubt. I think he has a major problem with arm fatigue late in the season though. He did have surgery in HS. Eades and Gausman were a deadly combo early in the season...then Eades just lost it all at the end of the year. I'm wondering if something is wrong with him again...I hope not because if we're going anywhere next year, we need him in top form...

I'm interested to see if Mccune will ever return to his freshman form and improve.

Had Eades not got injured in HS, he wouldn't be at LSU right now...

Actually, I think he was towards the end of the year. That's why I think he has serious fatigue issues...

And I think his fastball was actually falling under 90mph a lot too.

This is true.

Towards the end of the year, yes. If you re-watch games from March-April he was nearing Gausman's velocity.

Someone can double check but when I first glanced at it I thought their team stats also had 0 SB, like they just weren't reported, but I could be wrong.

Looks like they had 24 stolen bases and 37 sac bunts in 45 games as a team.

Got a question. Wasnt nola a great hitter in high school? As well as some of the othee pitchwes on the staff? Why not let them hit as dh also? Jw

I can't see Nola doing any better than anyone we currently have in the lineup. Eades is a different story. Aaron Johnson from Dunham was a monster left handed bat in HS. Hit a shite load of home runs.

In his last article he talked about the returning and new roster for next year and stated he was looking to pick up another catcher. I think your guy was included on the list already and then he may add one more catcher.
