Dont really see next yrs team being any better than this yrs. Starting rotation will be weaker losing a great pitcher in Gausy, defensively we lose a great SS not to mention our outfield will still be slow as shite, and offensively if we dont lose Javi were fricked for the 4th straight yr. Havent seen anyone actually improve from one yr to the other since 09' offensively except for raph and thats fricking terrible! Mainieri needs to grow some balls and at least pump these guys up in the dugout instead of standing on the edge of the dugout with his finger in his arse hoping for a miracle!

It's likely Powell is on the way out and I know maneri wants him to switch back to catcher. Maneri doesn't like him at 3rd.

strickland is already gone,Trent is in,LFT pitcher with potential,Feilds should be gone( he didn't bat his weight.

If we stay healthy we will not be slow in the outfield, we will actually have OF out there instead of make shift position players because of injury...and I don't see how we are "fricked for 4th straight year" . This team played great and got further then anyone thought they would...we should be able to move forward with all these young guys getting good post season experience.

Fields won't be back next year. He wasn't given a summer assignment. Mainieri is running him off.

with the loss of Guasman and nola at ss and hanover at third we will not be a strong team. We'll be fortunate to make the NCAA tournament. Watching Ark go a, team we swept I can't understand what happened. This was the best team we had in years but the whole team went into a slump. Rymes and Katz at bat Eads pitching we went cold at the wrong time.
It might be 2 years before we get another shot!

He has power for his size, he'll hit 5-10 HR's but he's a doubles hitter who will hit for a high average.

So next years team could end up like Arkansas and make Omaha. Your argument doesn't make sense...no offense.

I would like to get your reasoning as to why LSU doesn't make the NCAA tournament next year.
LSU brings back 2 weekend pitchers, it's ENTIRE bullpen minus Goody and it's top two hitters in Katz and Rhymes while improving the outfield. Sure they lose great defense in Nola and Hanover but that's not big enough for a most likely top 10 team next year to go off the map.

I'm taking a one post mulligan from my Tiger Rant sabbatical to tell you to STFU.

I made a vow not to post here until the CWS was over so as to collect my thoughts and cool off. Although, my nonrefundable round trip plane ticket to Omaha isn't going to use itself and/or make me feel any better with my current state of mind. I'll have beer for all of you at Barrett's.

guys like Ross and Tyler Moore will build on their 2012 seasons. Both are ready to take the next step.
Jacoby Jones is a wildcard.
Bregman will be one of the top freshman hitters in the SEC, if not the best.
And i dont think there is an SEC team that will return 2 hitters of the quality of Katz and Rhymes.
