I really think Miles has the players future before his own personal goals. Its seems like the guys play hard for him with a few exceptions.

IDK exactly how I feel about Elmer Fudd.
I hated him for how he basically laid down 1-9-12
I hated him for how he treated JL (without JL, a bunch of you would have had much worse feelings for this man)
I hated the love affair he had with JJ.
But on the same token he has run a clean program.. I dont blame him for selfish players that put themselves above the team, that ultimalty hurts us.
Bottom line is, alabama has taken 2-3 from us and has won 3 out last 4 NCs and favored to win this year... call it bama sessed all you like, fact is they are in our conf and in our divsion..
For US to achieve what we all want to achieve we have to beat them... PERIOD.

It's a 8 year view, which clearly has been the best run in LSU history.
He's been here long enough for all of us to know the issues. If the issues were never addressed internally do you think he'd still be here?

Underappreciated.
Will not put winning above character. He kicked off a starting QB who had just won us the seccg, and a heisman finalist for poor judgement. His only questionable call on this subject has been Jefferson.

Probably the best eight year run for LSU that I can remember! All coaching staffs have their ups and downs but for the most part Les has done really good job. I say carry on and lets get another NC!

Tell me anyone who would not go back to their Alma Mater for way more pay and a place where they would win 8 games a yr asleep? The Michigan program at that time was at a 25-30 yr low and was the opportunity of a lifetime for anyone in the profession. Who wouldnt have hauled arse if that gig had fallen in their lap?
What did Mr. Miles do? He decides to stay at LSU in the SEC West, yeah u know that place where Tuscaloosa resides, and compete against the best in the country. And his reward is..... he gets to listen to his own unappreciative fans belittle him on a weekly basis even in the off season. An off season that saw him bring in a tremendous and program changing OOS recruiting class and while doing all this, hires the best OC that was available. Do u think its an accident that Coach Stud takes the demotion and stays with this man when other OC and possible HC jobs were available to him?
Its time to wake up people and realize just what u have here. Saban runs out on two programs and str8 up lies to both of his employers or would u rather have Urban Meyer , who couldnt even handle the stress of the SEC East. Its been 8 years and he's still standing with his morals and values intact and with a damn strong football team.
