Let miles and his antics keep up, he won't have 20k fans in the stands supporting this crap of a team we have on the field right now! Don't mistake what I'm saying bc I think this team is actually a championship caliber team this year but with the coaching we are getting at the moment it's probably 10th in the SEC if that.

If MS and OM can put that kind of product on the field so can LSU actually even more so. It just takes the right play calling and preparation/coaching we apparently lost somewhere. The most complete team I have seen was 2011, and it still wasn't complete bc we didn't have a capable QB to get past a team that had a defense just as strong as ours.

So Mawae is LSU's "greatest ever in the NFL'?

Well Jimmy Taylor is in the NFL Hall Of Fame.
YA Tittle is in the NFL Hall Of Fame.
Steve Van Buren is in the NFL Hall Of Fame.
Kevin Faulk has 3 Super Bowl Rings.
Alan Faneca was a 9 time All Pro & won a Super Bowl

I'm just sayin.....

Go on to 104.9 and replay the podcast. You can hear exactly what he said. Also, you are very old and partially senile if you think that was how he meant it. He answered a question and did not bash Miles.

I heard it this morning. It was stated/interpreted correctly in the OP.

It will take a major coup by TAF-LSU Power Brokers and well heeled Alums, combined with the Fan Base boycotting BIG games to force Alleva's hand.
Not that I am in any way advocating such a thing, but stranger things have happened.

5ypc team rushing average says you're very wrong.
That's much more than either '03, '07 or '11 averaged.
If you'd have said 2012, I'd agree, but it was personnel losses more than anything else.

Its going to be interesting to hear what some of the Les apologists have to say at the end of the year.

I'm not apologizing, but he had better stick to his scheme just as he said.
You can't just change that shite midseason.
He can mix in some misdirection, Toss Sweep to go with Toss Power and flat passes to back up LBs a bit, if they find some way to complete them.

LSU will have a real mess on offense abandoning what they repped all summer for a new scheme as some asuggest.

Besides Kevin, apparently some of you didn't hear what Jacob Hester stated on 104.5 either. Hester stated this is the same offense Cam ran with him at San Diego. That Cam's style of offense was easy to adjust plays, could do so within a couple weeks with this team. He certainly would know.

Hester was still at LSU when Cam was with the Chargers. maybe there were still remnants of his offense or the same general philosophy after he left.

Mixing in more spread, even just to run the ball, isn't a difficult concept. In fact, it's how Harris and Fournette were used throughout high school. Maybe, just maybe, they would thrive in that set now.

San Diego obviously liked Cam's offense being that they kept portions of it. Enough so that Hester recognized it here at LSU, particularly last year.

Blackwell lost all credibility when he said that he would take Kingsbury over Miles, no questions asked. That level of ignorance pretty much negates anything constructive that he might have previously said.

ignorance? or just a huge dig at miles?
why say say you'd take bill walsh or spurrier or saban when you are trying to show how bad they are?

Seemed very difficult last Sat.
I suppose AJ has repped it for 3 months now and can't get the keys right.
Not sure how much more of that I want to see.
