If Yocom doesn't start hitting soon, we'll see Didier at second base, IMO.

I bet Yocom's bat comes around. If not, you are right in that coach will put another bat in the lineup. He might move Hanover to 2B and try somebody at 3B.

You can't judge a guy at the plate after 4 games. Now after 10 games, if he's not getting it done, then make a switch.

Wasn't he like 2-3 on Wednesday? That's one thing I always admired about Skip...he didn't make too many knee jerk reactions. He gave his guys the opportunity to play out of a bad stretch...then if it wasn't happening he'd make a switch.

Can't treat it like basketball where if a guy is sucking, you throw him on the bench for a few minutes.

That's why I wrote "soon" and not "now."

Yocom started a very nice double play against mcneese. it was in the early innings but he snared it on a short hop while charging it and made a quick flip to nola. it was a really nice play. i think maineiri even made note of it in the postgame.

Yes, he did. And he and Nola were laughing about it afterwards. Yocom didn't know at first that he had the ball in his glove.
