I guess 'cause it was part of the whole post-Katrina funk.

It didn't have a MNC hanging on the balance and ultimately didn't mean a great deal but yeah, Tennessee 2005 has to go down as my all-time heartbreaking, frustrating loss.

don't know. That's interesting considering Tennessee won 30-27.

I'll never understand you douches that don't understand what the triaging and evacuating and disruption of routines, sleep, workouts and all did in that game.

I was in the PMAC, dude. And I still knew how to work at Kinko's and go to class the next day.

Watch the game. You can see the progression of a PHYSICALLY EXHAUSTED team trying to hang on later in the game.
About 20 guys are. There were literally 90 more who were dressed out and fresh. Fresh, shitty players can hold onto a 21-point lead (if they're coached well).

Auburn 04, no. We violated a rule that was in place at the time. My recollection is that Saban was in support of this rule.

Sort of. He was on the committee, but had said that he would have preferred that the rule be more like the NFL rule than what wound up passing.

The penalty on the first extra point was a farce, the SEC office admitted it.

link?

It's weird that they would say that the call was blown when the foul did indeed occur and it got flagged.

i remember Saban telling the Gridiron club that the sec said they wouldn't call it the rest of the year. He also said that we "technically" didn't break the rule because prude landed on his own player (not sure if thats true)

Losing to UAB in Tiger Stadium is a disgrace and should be in everyone's top 5. I find it far less painful losing to any SEC team than to UAB.

I can't believe no one said Kentucky in 07'. I don't think I've ever been so deflated over a loss.

That game had me sad but I was easily able to get over it because of all the other major losses that day and the fact that the first BCS standings came out right after that game and we clearly still were in a great position to play for the national title. Arkansas that year truly hurt because no rational person could think we were still gonna get into the national title game.

The Interception Game in 93 or 94 when we had the game won and Jamie Howard threw those INTs.
