I love how so many yesterday were trashing State on how they are such a bad team and now they are top 25.

So what if we start SEC play at 5 - 10 for the 1st 5 series
Then we’d probably finish conf play at 15 wins and still be on the bubble of hosting a regional.

Alabama hosted a regional last year with 16 wins, Florida hosted a regional with 15 wins 2 years ago, so on and so forth every year.

This isn't football where one bad weekend drops you 12 spots. Most of these rankings are based on potential thus why Florida is still sitting at #6.

last year despite some late season struggles, we still entered the tournament as #5.

Yall think he would let Little just nonchalantly walk away if he were a serviceable big time SEC baseball player?

Yet LSU won the title last year, while Vandy couldn't even get out of a cake regional in their park.

...well, they also just took a series from a previously unbeaten A&M.

Florida St at 12 being 18-0 is odd. They are a good program.

Have they just played a junk schedule?

Yes, up until this past week where they beat Florida midweek and swept Notre Dame, and they weren't ranked to begin the season.

Just get a regional, get hot and peak for the post season. Anything can happen at that point.

Notre Dame isn’t even really that good. They play Clemson this week you’ll know a lot more about them after that.

We got run ruled by Auburn last year. We probably should have dropped out the top 25 right?

I haven't watched a single second of them this season, but they've been a fairly regular Super Regional participant lately.

We got run ruled 2-12 (8) against Auburn last year, we dropped from #1 to #2, and we ended up just fine.

You do understand that no past seasons really mean anything about this current season, right?

Sure, but I think pretty much everyone who isn't an emotional-vagina knows that losing one SEC series on the road isn't a death sentence either.

Some concerning things popped up this weekend, sure, but tRant is taking those results and running rampant as usual. And yes, it'll be just as dumb if we have people putting 2024 on the intimidator if we take 2 of 3 from Florida this weekend.

I mean they took 2/3 from the previously ranked #2 team in the country. Of course they are going to move up. I have a feeling after the next 2 weekends @ Texas A&M and @ Florida they will have dropped back down.

The coach that got them to that point is now at Florida State.

I knew that, but wasn't sure how much turnover happened.
