LSU will have a down year offensively even assuming Cameron stays. Defensively we should hopefully be back to form. I can definitely see another 2009 style team.

If this year is 2008 and next year is 2009, I'm pumped for 2016!

Why? So we can endure another 1/9/17?

When is our schedule not brutal? At first glance, it looks like a best case scenario of 10-2 and a worse case of 8-4. In other words, a typical Les Miles year.

Florida depends on whether Boom changes anything with their offense.

You know by then Saban will be sitting on a beach in Miami yelling at the lifeguard for not using the proper technique for running through the waves before showing him clips of Hasselhoff with a laser pointer
ETA: Maybe not Miami. They'll probably still be bitter about the whole Drew Brees thing.

I think you are being very generous with the early departures...I doubt Hill or the WR's come back. Freak either...
Uhhh, doesn't Hill have to come back since he is only a true sophomore?
We get him back next year.

Hill is a true sophomore but three years removed from h.s., thus making him eligible for the draft.

Our good underclassmen seem to leave asap so I don't expect our skill guys to be back.

10-2 with loses at Aub, and Fla. (not too sure about Wisky)
QB - could be very dynamic change to what we have. I like Mett, and he has an NFL arm, but he is an F'ing statue in the pocket.
RB - freshmen backs can usually have a dramatic impact, and LF would be special (please God!)
FB - Jones will be more dynamic with the ball in his hands, but we won't see the kind of lead blocking we have become accustomed to.
WR - scares the shite out of me. No OBJ, no Landry, no experience!
TE - not a big part of our O, but still a solid group.
OL - could be very special. I think Pocic could be one of the best LT's we have had since Whitwirth. Maybe not next year, but definitely by 2015.
DT - gonna be ugly. Ego gone (4th year junior), and Freak will probably go as well (he'll be a 2nd or 3rd round pick). Don't really know who steps in to provide stability and depth.
DE - Allen, Hunter, Bower, Neal, Beckwith, and Heron. I like this group. Rasco is the big unknown. He is one of those guys talking a big year, and then a jump to the league. Hard to convince those guys to stay (even if they should) once they get it in their head that they are going to play on Sundays.
LB - not much of a change from this year. Kwon a very good player with no compliment. I am praying that Garrett can be an immediate stud, but MLB is not a place where freshmen usually excel right away.
CB - going to be much improved. Really like the trio of Mills, White, and Robinson.
S - like LB, I don't think we see much change. Thompson and Martin are serviceable, with Eugene a dime type guy. Maybe Jefferson will contribute, but I don't see him being a real "game changer"
K - no change
P - no change (we need some fricking Vegimite in this bitch).

Damn... do we have to play Florida again? I see 2 losses, hopefully 1 but 2 more probable.

Seems like Bama doesn't have ANY down years, but it'll be interesting to see how they replace McCarron
I laughed when I read "Alabama will be having a down year" as well. The closest thing they've had to that is 2010 when they lost three games to top-20 teams, two of them by a combined four points. As for replacing AJ, there's plenty of young talent behind him and the last two times Alabama has broken in a new starter (McElroy, AJ) they've won the national title that year. The system has the ability to protect and compensate for a young QB when need be.

I wish we had one of our bye weeks earlier in the season. Either before Auburn or Florida would be great.

Really? You honestly do not know why he missed his first year out of HS?
