JR had the most physical talent of any QB to ever put on the P&G, the mental part of his game was always in question

He only set the record for compl% at LSU and had far less ints than Flynn all while having zero running game.

me Flynn was more consistent, JR had more talent

Ha. You don't know football then. Flynn was totally inconsistent. 4 ints vs Bama, less than 50% comp against Kentucky.
JR's 2006 season dwarfs Flynn's 07 season.
In 2009 JJ had a higher qb rating than Flynn 07. The reason our off was good in 07 wasn't because of Flynn. It was the 3000 yards rushing we had.
Anyone that says Flynn was better than JR doesn't know football. Period.

RB: With Jeremy Hill in this group, and the over all talent behind him, I think this group can be slightly better than the 2007 group featuring Hester, Williams and Scott

Gotta disagree here. Hester was a beast. Scott was a hammering machine and Williams was a sprinter with power.

The 2007 group may well turn out to be the best. This years group has the potential to be better, but will have to prove it on the field.

I really didn't mean to start a JR vs Flynn debate here. To me they were both very good college QB's and have turned in mediocre pro career's to date. They both had strengths and weaknesses that differed from the other.

If you consider JR to be the better of the two, I really won't argue the point much, he was really really good and to me it's splitting hairs to pick one over the other.
