A decent game against WKU and all the JJ lovers/Lee haters are out of hibernation.

Lee didn't bring us anywhere. The TEAM brought themselves to 10-0 , ably managed by the head coach.

Did I do something I wasn't supposed to?

I'm just tired of some "fans" pissing on the great season we're having.

So if it seems like I'm crying about it, so be it.

Then you know nothing about football.

I did not think this was even up for debate.

Whoever said I was miserable? I'm enjoying the season. I just can't stand when people act like Lee hasn't done jack while JJ is the knight in shining armor to save us. All they needed was two picks against Bama and a decent game against a Sunbelt team. Playing both gives us the best chance to win. Its worked so far.

You don't read very well, because you TOTALLY missed this part of my post:

quote:

I believe he should play, especially in situations where he's needed to just keep things stable (aka the Alabama game), but letting him run our offense full time is a loss waiting to happen.

Lee didn't bring us anywhere. The TEAM brought themselves to 10-0 , ably managed by the head coach.

Stop trying to dig deeper meaning out of words. When I said Lee "brought" us to 10-0, I meant he was the QB at the time, and the QB is one of the leaders of the team.

Of course it's a team effort, it's sports. You're not making some profound statement by saying that.

And let's also note that to give your team the best shot at winning, all parts of the team need to be hitting on all cylinders. And what QB helps us do that is what this discussion is about.

I'll say this. Anyone who can convince himself that we would've won the bama game with Lee at qb is completely delusional and I won't waste time arguing with them. Accordingly, anyone who believes that the bama game was simply an anomaly and that arky, ga and whoever we face in no won't see that JL still throws picks under pressure is just kidding themselves. Old habits die hard. Les even touched on it briefly in his presser when he said that wku did some things different that we thought we had worked out and that's why he kept JJ in the game. He was talking about our protections. I don't think any of our coaches expected wku to blitz as much as they did. Unfortunately for JL, the bama game is on film now and every team will attack him like never before because the reward is too great, stats notwithstanding. BUT, I saw at least one encouraging moment occur in the game when a free blitzer came strongside and Lee actually pulled the ball down, ducked under him and ran. Don't know if anybody else caught that.

Have you watched LSU the two seasons before this one? Our offense didn't exactly scare defenses.

Overall, Yes, JL is the better passer. He also spreads the ball around better.

JJ is good for completing 1 really deep ball a game tho.

actually you truly do not know this as true.

and the same could easily be flipped for JJ.. who knows what games he would have lost this season..

Still Lee had one bad game ALL season long against the other best defense in the country.. It HAPPENS.

So now he all of sudden sucks? You can gfy with that ezrulz. So many negafricks still have JL's freshman season in their mind. JL is still among the best passers in the SEC this season.

Unfortunately for JL, the bama game is on film now and every team will attack him like never before because the reward is too grea

Unfortunately for every other team; THEY ARE NOT BAMA.

Fortunately FOR LSU.. they have OPTIONS if NEED Be..

I respect JJ for starter fans opinions, but I do not respect the reasoning to be because of one game against Alabama. I'm sorry I can't.

I for one believe Lee should start, but I do like JJ in certain situations. I truly do.. but all in all.. there are reasons both guys have played over the past 2 seasons..

For all the Lee struggles under pressure, he's still only thrown 3 int's all season long. The o-line for LSU this season is one of the most seasoned and best.

JJ still has his typical faults. He still holds the ball far too long, prone to the sack and possible fumble. His decision making is still questionable.
Maybe not from an interception stand point, but just as a management and situational stand point..

However, for the moment both guys are progressing, which is awesome!!!
