m not comparing the teams. I'm comparing the amount of time & the performances the starting quarterbacks produced.

We only played with our starter for 2 quarters agianst NSU. We played for a little over 3 with Jordan against WKU.

Well you are indirectly comparing them, because why not throw out any other game? Your argument is, "Both of these teams are shitty. One of the QBs only had to play a half against one before it was over and the other had to play 3+ quarters."

Am I misinterpreting?

If not, then I would think that WKU being better would be a significant factor in that.

But, I also believe it has a lot to do with wanting to get JJ more work.

You are misinterpreting. I'm actually pointing out that HE (He being Mayhawman) shouldn't use the games for comparison.

Secondly, I'm providing context & you've misinterpreted there. Jarrett Lee didn't "only have to play one half."

Jarrett Lee got lit up on a blitz through the A-Gap that Spencer Ware completely whiffed on. He got hit & hurt his foot/ankle. That was on the final drive of the half, & he was clearly hobbled on the rest of it. I think we still scored.

The 2nd half against NSU, Mett played the entire way.

I think its pretty safe to say that Lee would've gotten at least the rest of the 3rd quarter to work, simply because he needed it (it was his 2nd start, and we were going on a short-week up to Starkville after that). Which means his performance could easily have been construed to have been even better (he finished 8-10 with 2 TD's in one half of work, I believe).

But that didn't happen. You're confused that I'm thinking it happened due to a blowout. His removal from the game completely changed that 2nd half. Even though it wasn't in doubt, our stats were skewed because you know Mett was getting reps & work for the future. Had Lee stayed in, we probably would've done better. But no way to know, which makes the comparison against WKU very weak, in my view, when you are looking at the raw stats up against each other from both games.

So when comparing the total stats from WKU against NSU, its not an apples & oranges discussion. Yes, 2 QB's played in each, but for completely different reasons, and not because of a blowout in the case of the former, which was unlike the case of the latter.

Did you miss the Kentucky game? That was as much a snoozer as WKU.

If you think that the Western Kentucky defense even begins to sniff any of those defenses, then you are mildly retarded.

And please don't respond by posting some stat on how WK defense ranks higher than one of those teams. They play in the freaking Sun Belt conference.

The only game that would be a worth comparison to Western Kentucky is Northwestern State, and we put up 28 points in the first half on them.
