They're fricking cheaters. The excuse now is to at the embellishment of the cheating, not actually disagree that they cheat. It's a distraction tactic.

LSU should know better now. When we play there next Saturday, they'll have more than 11 on each side of the ball and we'll have to compensate for it. Don't leave it close enough to let the cheating effect the outcome.

IMO,

Auburn 2004 was a worse call than Auburn 2006.

Sorry guys, not to be Negative, but get ready again next week. What makes anyone think that things are going to be different? We will lose a "close" game again after a very bad call....How can this keep happening???? Even if you are an Auburn fan, think about it, doesn't it seem ironic??? Maybe that is why we were ranked higher than Auburn in all the preseason polls but the same people voted that Auburn would win the West....How much clearer could it be???

Oh, definitely.

But in 2004 when a kicker misses an XP and they call a penalty that has never been called before?

Taht's fricked up.

I think we found something that Auburn and LSU fans agree on. What a tool

Officiating really took a nose dive in 2005 or the writer has a short memory/attention span. They must've been near perfect from '98 to '04 (also the BCS era).

This one still hurts ....

Maybe worse yet was two years previous when Early got rung up for a penalty on the missed XP attempt.

Def. a joke... I really do not buy that he was an alum/booster in that booth.

But it still must suck for Auburn winning in under those circumstances. I was at both games and even Auburn fans admitting in 2004 and 2006 that we were cheated and they got lucky.

2004 was a horrible game, but 2006 has the be the worst called game in tiger history.

To the amazement of everyone in the stadium, the announcers, and everyone watching at home, they refs call for a review. It goes to the replay booth where Oregon fan and local Eugene resident Gordon Reise misses what everyone else in the world saw; that an Oregon player touched the ball before it went 10 yards and an OU player recovered it. It also turns out that the referee who called for the review was a high school buddy of Oregon coach Mike Belotti.

See folks, here is another joke to make his point of how bad calls were.

No--the homer in the booth is apparently for real, go read the comments! The writer is also recommending extra security for Ramsey!

I have several problems with the list:

1)Oklahoma/Oregon is by far the worst call of all time. It made me question my love for the sport if that kind of shite could happen. It was wrong on so many levels.

2)I don't like it when people focus on the Ohio State/Miami call and ignore a super-obvious pass interference that wasn't called against Miami right near the end of regulation. Ohio State would've gotten the first down and won the game.

3)The Washington call just was not a bad call.

#1 is a freaking joke.

Couldn't agree more... I almost wonder if anyone watched that game... At the very least, there was defensive holding on that play... That's an automatice first down anyways... The news media and their three second clips of plays doesnt do this play justice. Its so unbelieveable how this call has been demonized. I dare someone to watch the final five minutes of that game and actually watch that play and the one ocurring near the end of the fourth, I believe it was Jenkins or maybe Gamble made a perfect cath for a first down that woul have run out the clock for a OSU win but the refs blatently f'ed up...Either watch these plays without bias or don't publish crap like this...

It's weird because on some of the other ones, he does mention earlier calls.

If anyone got jobbed in that OSU game, it was OSU.

The entire 2006 Auburn game was the worst call in college football. Because there were about 5 disastrous calls, not just one gaffe, and it actually caused LSU to lose.
I agree with this, it was collectively the worst officiated CFB game I have ever seen in 40 years of watching CFB. And not just because of that one play, the whole game.
