If you remember back we had a guy by the name of Chris Davenport 5 star top 3 at this positon.

I don't believe he has played a down at LSU.

Stephon Francios was a top 150 guy who was servicable.

One DE/LB (whatever he is) should not mean the sky is falling. So many people we jacked up about this class when they woke up this morning, and as soon as one guy signs with Texas it turns to shite. We may have signed the best player from Alabama in Kwon Alexander (potentially).

Let's get ready for another great season. I think Les & Frank should get a pass. We are putting players in the draft yearly. 2 stars 3 stars and 5 stars. It's all irrelevant the day they step on campus.

You are right.

We should stop recruiting 4-5 star guys.

Only 3-stars from here on out.

Sound strategy.

One bust doesn't constitute every top player being one. I wanted Davis. Big loss IMO. Happy to have a bumper year of LB's this year, but losing the top three hurts.

Since that's what I said.

You think the future of LSU football rests on Landon Collins and Toshiro Davis's shoulders?

Get a fricking grip on reality!

My take is that the competition was too tough in Baton Rouge for Davis. I am also not upset about Collins either. Glad to get late commits from Alexander and Thompson. Let's see how it all pans out.

I watched Davis play a couple times Vs. Northside here in Lafayette.

I literally could not point him out on the field. I'm sure he is a workout warrior and has some great combine numbers , but I wasn't blown away.

He may be the next Terrell Suggs but i just don't see it.

We shouldn't get mad about a 4-star player, because there is a chance they could bust?

Davis was our best recruit in this class. It doesn't matter how you spin it, this was a shitty year in recruiting when you consider the talent we lost instate.

It left a bad taste in some peoples mouth how TD and LC handle their recuritments. It did nothing for the state of LA. But if they don't want to be here, peace out!!

Debo will be the one of best players in this class, he is not getting the recognition he deserves on this board

My point was when everyone logged on this morning they were excited as hell it was signing day and all positive.

We got a committment by a top 10 player from the state of Alabama which rarely happens. (he was #1 pre-inury) Best OLB prospect we have had since Trev Faulk.

As soon as we lose 1 guy who is overrated IMO, everyone on here is going nuts. "top 3 player in LA"

Those rankings are subjective as hell. The only clear cut # one player is LC. The rest are up in the air in rankings.

He isn't overrated. His offer list speaks for itself. Stop trying to justify losing a potential impact player.

Fair point. There are no "can't miss" at any level. That said you do have a much better chance with higher quality players mixed in with 2 and 3 stars with something to prove.

That said, no recruits in the top 100 ? Doesn't seem to make sense.
