I would have to go with Carter or Jackson

Carter on the edge would be a game changer type player..

as would Jackson, but I give the nod to Carter because he would have more opportunities to effect the game

Kenny Young

He is just as fast as Kwon and Debo, but bigger

We need LBers like him

Dupre- terrific athelete. ranks are getting thin.

Valentine- LSU D is dependent on a good DL.

A OT that will be ready, with some experience, to get significant PT in 2yrs. (Assuming behind Collins, Boutte, maybe Pocic if moved to OT, etc). Pipeline, a good pipeline.

Top3

Agreed. I would say Adoree as well because of his versatility.

No brainer is Carter to me. He is a game changer at a position that is critical to be an elite defense.

Valentine with Speaks 2nd. We need impact DL and Valentine is that, if he keeps his head together. Speaks is the type of DL we've been very successful with over the years. A late blooming body with plus athleticism for a guy that size.

Top 5 in order

Valentine-stud DTs are hard to get
Speaks-just touching his potential
Dupre-another just touching his potential and a need
Jackson-just an elitr talent
Kelly-huge upside at a position of need

Young would be next. Not buying the speed thing. No way he runs as fast as Kwon. Probably not Jones either. He moves well but those guys have elite to near elite speed for a LB

Carter or McDowell. Both long shots, both have potential to be early contributors.

1. Dupre - We only have 1 WR on the roster has more than 1 collegiate catch with Dural and he only has 7 catches. And Dupre is 1 of the best WR prospects to come out in the last few years. Would be a huge help for Jennings to have an athletic and big WR that can go up and make great catches. And Dupre is that.

2. Carter - We need a pass rushing DE. Badly. Last year Rasco led the teams in sacks, with 4(not a lot). Dwayne Thomas and Mills, 2 DBs, were tied for 2nd with Hunter with 3.

3. Kenny Young - We have a solid group of LBers on the team with Kwon, Debo, Garrett, Louis, Welter, etc. But Young is a stud. Reminds me of a bigger Kwon. Would push to get on the field early.

4. Adoree Jackson - Hes a huge recruit, but we are pretty much set with CBs. White and RR were both freshman last year. Have Toliver, who is the best DB in the entire country right now regardless of age, coming in next year along with Xavier Lewis. If Adoree would be strictly a WR, he would be much higher. Good return guy, but we have good return guys on the team right now, Dural, and others coming in with this class, Chark, Quinn.

5. Valentine / Speaks - Have a talented group of DTs on the team, but with little or no experience. I think Bain will be our best DT next year. But you can never have too many DL.

In order

Carter - in the mold of Mingo. Very fast off the snap. Need that magic back.

Holland Jr - I think he is a hidden gem that will dominate. 6'3 200lb physical WR with 4.47 speed and good route running.

Speaks - very athletic DT. His explosion is elite for a guy his size. If he has good technique, he'll live in the backfield. Reminds me of Sutton last year.

Dupre - tape speaks for itself. Two year 1000 yard WR wherever he goes. He would be in the #2 spot if I wasn't so high on Holland's ceiling.

Young - lot of speed and power to get to the ball carrier in a hurry. Looks decent in coverage too.

Jackson - one word, playmaker. He'll be our return man for his last 2-3, assuming he stays four, years here. He's like Sunseri in the fact that he knows what to do with the ball in his hands after a pic. Don't know how got his coverage skills are, but could leave with a high amount of ints.

Valentine - don't know much about him other than he's big.

Kelly Jr - same. He's big and an OT. Don't really know much about him.
