I know he is an Aggie commit, and we haven't offer him yet, but do you guys think we should start going after him hard now and offer him? Watching his film, I think he can be a good RB for us and fill our class nicely, and with Cam Akers being an absolute pipe dream, I think we need to make a move. That's just my two cents though.

I think if he was ever going to get offered by LSU, it would've happened this weekend.

Good back but size is the issue for LSU's system.

Is he too small? I mean 5'11" 200 lbs sounds fine to me on paper. He can put on some muscle.

Then what is this?

Clyde Edwards-Helaire RB 5'7", 191 lb. Catholic

Most don't think he can. The opinion is he has about maxed out his frame and is always going to be in that Micheal Ford mold, which we already have in this class in CEH. He's a speedster, and if we take a second back in this class it will be a big body. There are several huge RB prospects for 2018 that were at camp this week and are very high on LSU.

It's one or the other, and the staff has chosen CEH.

It's not the weight, it's the frame and more importantly how more weight that frame can support.

Mods have said for a while Etienne reminds the coaches too much of CEH. They are targeting bigger every down backs for the 2nd RB spot.

whoa - you are way off base here. LSU may not have offered for a myriad of reasons, grades is not one of them

he's a smaller back, LSU wants a bigger back like Akers to complement Clyde Edwards-Helaire

To be fair, we should qualify that he is a smaller back by LSU standards. He is by no means "small", Les just likes to run those big boys.
