It’s like we have a team full of 3 stars and we’re desperately in trouble. We have team full of very talented players that needed a competent coaching staff, mostly defensively.

I just don’t get why most don’t have faith in players developing. It’s like a crime for LSU to improve. I’m glad we don’t have to buy like Ole Piss. That’s very risky roster building.

Watch after Ole Piss misses the playoff, all those players will bounce like the Florida State players did after the year. We’re in better roster shape than most want to believe

We added Jyaire Brown and Jardin Gilbert. Both contributors. We also returned zy Alexander, jk Johnson, major burns and the freshmen who played quite a bit last season.

major burns

Burns was the biggest liability

I’m sure BK didn’t know. We’ll pass along your message.

Be careful. If u insult lsu not adding via portal you’ll be downvoted to hell and don’t understand what BK is doing. CFB has always been an arms race be it facilities, perks you name it. NIL is no different and we aren't keeping up.

It’s bleeding again. Might want to grab some more of those expandable things and take care of it.

They don’t have to do anything. Nobody at LSU is expecting a championship next year. Next year is prep for the future

We’re not keeping up? Then how do we have the top player/top QB, Top running back and top receiver committed fir the 25 class?

BK isn’t trying to build a one year winning season by shelling out stupid money in the portal for players in a year where you are breaking in a new QB. We also already have over the 85 limit scholarships. Who else you want to cut? How good is that going yo look to future recruits if you do?

No, you (and every bitch made poster like you) are just overreacting because you don’t know how dynasty programs are built. (Hint: it ain’t by getting most of your players from the portal)

If the D-line doesn’t improve dramatically,…..you can forget about the secondary getting better. Linebackers too for that matter. The fact that CBK brought in two D-line coaches ought to make the significance obvious.

All we heard BK say during the season in regards to the defense is “we just don’t have the personnel”. He meant the majority of the players on defense just aren’t good enough. That’s why a lot of us are surprised he didn’t try to get a few highly rated portal players. It was his own words every single Monday press conference. Some in the portal just simply turned LSU down. Some fans get upset when other LSU fans mention this but it was BK’s own words that made us assume he was going to try to upgrade the roster significantly. Now if hes confident in the current defensive players improving a ton then so be it…we ride with that and will support it. But let’s not act like BK wanted all of us to know he’s working with a limited deck.

Out of those 20 how many can we realistically rely on to lock down? Zy, JK Johnson, Gilbert, Stamps will all be coming off injuries. Other DBs have been here and we havent seen anyone really “takeoff” and hold it down.

You're new to college football aren't you? First, yeah every team especially the great ones have lockdown corners all over the field? In fact, the great ones have 3rd string lockdown corners. You are a naive if you believe that. Stingley was the last LSU lockdown corner that LSU has had and that is pretty much standard for almost every single team in college football...one every few years.

Second, LSU has players coming off of injuries? My God, thanks for the breaking news that also applies to almost every team in college football. And you know what...the vast majority of them come back in a few months and certainly a year good as new. And as far as not seeing any secondary guys "take off", you don't evaluate talent very well. Alexander "took off" in the 2nd half of the season when he improved his game by looking back for the ball. Toriano played better the more he played. I don't know if you are a troll or simply can't evaluate talent and are a glass half empty type of person.

I don't remember him saying that phrase about personnel and they aren't good enough. You heard a different media session than I did. What I remember him saying was their secondary numbers were down, we are having to play TR FR, and we are playing the best we have available. That is not a reflection of talent IMO. It is a reflection of numbers and experience...not remotely the same thing as lack of talent.

I suggest you quit playing college football coach and talent evaluator and allow the coach who is one of the winningest coach in college football to do his job.
