We better hope our DBs and/or Dline improve

We added no solid contributors from the portal at either positions so far. Sure, we have the spring portal still to come but those players most likely wont be on the level as the first portal. We need solid depth. DB room added a bunch of HS recruits but none are proven and Dline added like 2.

3 3* 165 lb CBs are not going to be helping LSU any time soon. We have enough trouble tackling in the secondary. Those 3 are 25 lbs away from contributing in the SEC.

The oh st kid played his fr yr a lot. I'd assume he's expected to compete for a starter spot. Alexander, sage, stamps, Hughes. If they can't play then we'll be overhauling entire cb room in off-season.

We added Jyaire Brown and Jardin Gilbert. Both contributors. We also returned zy Alexander, jk Johnson, major burns and the freshmen who played quite a bit last season.

Don’t we have like 20 DBs? At some point you have to show you can develop players.
If the argument is that the DBs aren’t good enough, why haven’t the coaches told them to hit the portal to make room for others?
Maybe they know something we don’t.

Be careful. If u insult lsu not adding via portal you’ll be downvoted to hell and don’t understand what BK is doing. CFB has always been an arms race be it facilities, perks you name it. NIL is no different and we aren't keeping up.

Out of those 20 how many can we realistically rely on to lock down? Zy, JK Johnson, Gilbert, Stamps will all be coming off injuries. Other DBs have been here and we havent seen anyone really “takeoff” and hold it down. Maybe scheme and better coaches will bring out the talent but not holding out.

Stfu with this dude. Y’all are so fricking simple minded it’s baffling. We don’t have the numbers to just add who some of you idiots want to add and BK is not going through a NIL bidding war for somebody, especially Amos, who has one year left.

Thank you. I swear 90% of this board either doesn’t have a brain or consciously chooses not to use it.
Just b/c you don’t see money being spent on short term portal rentals, doesn’t mean it’s not being spent on building a talented roster… and last I checked we have one of the most talented in the country.
