I say take them both. One of them might turn out to be a pure FB

I don't think you can afford to have 3 fullbacks on scholarship. There may be some other reason to take both, but it would likely involve Ware moving to LB or something.

Ware is more highly regarded than Johnson by just about everyone.

That is why I don't think we end up with both, unless we get neither Blue nor Seastrunk.

A better way of framing this is to ask, "what does Storm bring to the table that Ware doesn't?"

Looks like another Christian Michael situation....why wouldn't Miles accept Storm's committment?? He may be taking a Seastrunk dice roll, or else he is waiting until next year for the good crop in La...but to me, you can never have too much of a good thing (running backs).

He reminds me of a faster more shifty Jacob Hester.

it's weird for an SEC power to go to Ohio to grab a kid at a playmaker position ...but with that said, Ware is a better all around player

plus, if Ware can't cut it at RB he is versatile enough to move to OLB without a question

the speed is concerning...but he is a helluva ATH

Yeah, I never get my hopes up when someone that highly recruited commits to us from that far away. Seems like they never end up staying. Barrington Edwards and...who was that Cali WR that Saban got...he ended up getting homesick, transferring to Cal, and turned out to be pretty awesome. They're the first two that jump to mind as recent "far away" recruits. We'll see if Ware ends up here.

Barrington was a bum. He had a 0.0 GPA and had to leave for obvious reasons. Lavelle is a good example of a talented guy getting homesick, but Barksdale and Dyakowski were both far away from home and flourished at LSU.

Hawkins was a playmaker from California ..I dont mind playmakers from there

But getting playmakers from sluggish Big 10 territory where kids stay in doors all winter and shovle snow??? ...meh ..it's rare

I could see Ware having weight issues and getting sluggish in college...we'll see

The dumbasses on this board have convinced themselves storm is a can't miss 5 star guy

Ware is the better rb prospect and gives you more versatility as an athlete. As for the "slow guy from up north" comments STFU that state produces shite tons of NFL talent yearly

Derby isn't happy that the home state team did offer this time?

Both are good backs. Either one has the tools to be a great back at LSU. In that list I a few days ago I liked Ware better than the other two backs at the camp. Those other two being Blue and Williams.
