Why invite Jim Harbaugh to Louisiana? We need him to stay as far away from here as possible.

I'm almost certain that they are killing the "destination practice" where the whole team travels just to have a couple days of practice.

A source stated that Tulane reached out to LSU for a joint venture this summer, but the Bayou Bengals declined the opportunity, under first year head coach Ed Orgeron, who is putting forth sweeping changes to LSU's summer camp schedule.

LSU turned them down, so Tulane is bringing in another big name. Hard to blame them. They want this camp to be a big deal

They should have said yes to LSU last year instead of hosting Texas A&M.

They had to have known the answer before asking. This is just a passive aggressive response to pump Tulane up and, more importantly, take a shot at LSU.

My first thought exactly - know your lane and stay in it.

I would venture that the baseball series means more to Tulane than LSU...

We are not keeping Michigan out of Louisiana; particularly the New Orleans area...Now that New Orleans native Warde Manual is the AD...Warde will not only endorse but encourage Coach Khaki Pants to pouch the area

LSU should host a camp with ULL or LaTech just to piss off Tulane! A camp with LaTech in north Louisiana actually isn't a bad idea to start winning that part of the state recruiting back over.

Wonder why?

I would think any chance to have a bigger presence in New Orleans would be a good thing?

New coach at Tulane this year. He wasn't around for the camps last summer.

ETA: He offered LSU first, they said no. So then he went to another big school to make the camp more attractive and I don't blame him for that. At least it's not another SEC school.

Still though, if you're LSU you don't want an instate school inviting them into your state to try and get kids. Yes, they're going to come into Louisiana anyways, but make it hard for them...don't freaking hand them an invitation to come to Nola and showcase their athletics/university to the kids...that's just my opinion tho. I would think Coach O and staff are highly pissed off @ Tulane for this.
