Nah, nothing's a lock in CFB recruiting. But loading up 10 members of your family and taking them on their first trip to a college to see Auburn 7hrs away ....

lock. Nobody visits anywhere with their fam unless they're a lock. The Chizicat offense starring that kid that made a 12 on the ACT is going to roll over the SEC.

Kinda like Randle did with Alabama last year? I can't wait to see Randle and Julio together the next 2-3 years. Should be amazing to watch Alabama's offense.

Is Rollison cleared yet? If Rollison and Lacy can make it on campus, I have to wonder how awful the transcripts for Deas, Benton, Bajoie, and Rockey D were.

I already know enough about Powe

I've said before i think he ends up at LSU. I may have to rethink that position. The consensus was that he's ready to end his recruitment.

Taking parents and a couple of siblings on a recruiting visit is one thing, but 10 family members 14 hrs both ways is telling if he dont bother to take his family to BR one hour up the street.

JMO though

He was at a bunch of LSU games last year. I highly doubt he went by himself.

Yep, it tells me the family took full advantage of a free trip.

You do realize that his family have probably been to Baton Rouge before?

From where LSU sits, why worry about him, if he comes great and if he doesn't, great.

He is a smallish, athletic slot guy. We actually have plenty of guys that are bigger, stronger and faster.

I don't see him as a must get.

Much rather some big OL from MS. Or bad mofo LB from anywhere.

Actually a fast slot guy is a much bigger need than another big OL. I'm not sure if we have any fast slot guys besides Claiborne (who could be a DB anyway) and Tolliver (whos isn't nearly as shifty as Reed). We have about 10-15 big OLs.

Mike Davis certainly fits that role if you want to count this years commits. I haven't seen enough of Jhryn to know if he does as well.

But I agree, slot WR is a need.

Davis can certainly play in there, but he's not as fast nor as good with the ball in his hands as Reed is.

And Jhyryn isn't that level of talent IMO.

If we do happen to lose that bet; you'll miss me more than the others right?

I like this. 7 hours one way didn't quite have that wow factor.
