not rouge but that is a really tough call. Ward is perfect fit in our scheme but Mario is a freak anywhere on the dline. I would definitely say Mario, but not by much

I say Alexander, he's just slight better all around. Yes Phillips can rush the passer and hit really hard, but so can Debo. I say we go for the guy who can pretty much do it all.

i would take Ward. He has the ability to add about #15 and still be a blitzing DE that can still defend the run well

i'm not sure how well Edwards can come off the edge on a consistant basis

This is not a tough call at all IMO. Edwards is next level.

Exactly Mario is from all UA game reports looking like a true stud. He is nearly a can't miss. No matter where he plays on the line he will raise hell.

Then we'll make him an All-SEC DT. Which is what I predict we would make him eventually.

The answer is - he already is 290# - healthy eating and doing back flips [tweet re: backflip yesterday]

With Edwards, the skill set is sufficient I can live with him at DT. However, I think he knows his money is at DE and is in the same league, from a physical maturity level, as Freak was last year. Barring injury, Edwards is about as close to a "can't miss" as you can get - Clowney is the only recent one I thought was better out of HS.

Kwon Alexander and "do it all" does not belong in the same sentence or even the same paragraph.

The coaches at Oxford use his strengths, which is using his speed and crashing him into the backfield every play. Which is smart, but has left him severely underdeveloped in coverage. And that fact was exposed at camps, which is why he fell in the eyes of some services. He was suppose to be this can't miss elite LB coming into this year, but now is more of a 2-3 year project as he gains weight and learns coverage. Not saying he won't be good, but sites tend not to rate player as high when they need multiple years before they are ready to start. He's pretty much identical to the previously mentioned Phillips and Debo(wicked nickname for a LB).

This is coming from a part time Oxford local and supporter...

Never once did I say Kwon sucked in coverage, he was never asked to do much of it as a Yellow Jacket.

I was going by the previous description on Phillips Debo as they are passrushers that can hit hard, I can't speak on their coverage skills. For that matter, I can't speak on Kwon's since he has never really done it. He's good at what was said they are good at, but it doesn't mean they all 3 share the same physical similarities down to the last detail.

Don't misconstrue it as a flame, because it certainly was not...
