good update. so much of this is Texas related. are doing any serious recruiting outside of Texas?

Only one I'm really worried about is Barrett. Hopefully Seals-Jones will make his mind up soon so he can start trying to bring Swoopes to Texas. No way they get Barrett AND Swoopes, so you just hope RSJ and Swoopes can commit soon
Robinson already got the DeCarlos Holmes treatment, whether the coach is still there or not, so he is likely heading to Texas.
I think we really impressed Prevot with his first offer so I don't see him committing.
Taylor seems to be way down on our list of DT prospects so it wouldn't be a huge loss.
Ishmael won't commit, and even if he does, we will still pull him back to LSU.
Don't think we ever had a real shot at Perkins.
Did you get that list from somewhere and could link the whole thing? I'm hoping Naashon Hughes still gives us a chance and doesn't commit to Texas if he is visiting

Hughes said he's planning to hit LSU, OU and Oklahoma State junior days in the near future, and he did talk to the UT coaches this week.
"I talked to them a couple days ago. They're still looking. They said they might take one linebacker from my class, and if they do it's probably going to be me. That's if they take one, they still don't know yet."
Hughes said he still wants to see other programs before declaring a leader, but it seems like a safe bet that Texas would hold a commanding lead if the Longhorns were to offer

This and if he thinks he is going to play WR at Texas he will be surprised.
There's other big guys in Texas like Ellis Jefferson and Eldridge Massington who are more suited to play WR and be a big target.
Also like that Rumph kid that you put the video of. Moves around and jumps effortlessly

maybe they land a couple big WRs and one of those guys ventures over to BR, that's prolly the only way we land him, IMO.

Was suprised myself that Texas didn't offer Hughes but the word is they're only taking 1 LB so they're being selective. He'll get offered eventually and quickly if Texas feels LSU makes ground with Darius James. If James starts leaning towards another school then Hughes will get his offer to end all that.
I doubt Chris Robinson gets an offer from Texas at least until Manning is closer to a decision or is obviously leaning away from Texas. Also Ashawn Robinson was told DT so they'll be careful offering other DTs before they know where everyone stands. Also I just don't think Robinson is that good. As bad as we need DTs, we haven't made much push with him at all.
