They're saying they are at this point but honestly that could be just for Texas though both visiting LSU together tells me they're serious.
I don't really think so becuase of Hughes. Texas will offer Hughes if they feel they're losing James and that = game over. Hughes will go to Texas if offered. James favors Texas greatly on his own so really it's possible he would go to Texas without Hughes but he's at least looking around to make sure. Also could depend if he seriously wants to play DT. Texas wants him as a C so if he wants DT then that could change things. I'll wait until after the visit to say definitively whether I think we have a shot.
