I'm glad he's committed and will refrain from negative comments. GT!

God I hope we keep this kid. This the direction we need to go at qb. No more dual threat projects. Sorry if I offended but leave the running to the running backs and the passing to the qb.

i'm all for a qb that is a threat to run. i just don't want to see any more projects. if we get some kids like fsu, bama and clemson have, frickin great, but no more projects.

if a kid can't show accuracy in high school, then stop fricking signing them. i remember watching bh6 in high school and he wasn't the most accurate qb then. if a kid can't show pretty good accuracy by the time he's a starter in high school, then move on.

This kid is a game changer. Hope he does not mind playing for a different head coach next year.

At some point in time you need to come to grasp with it's not some rash of good luck in recruiting by some teams and bad luck by us. When you have the consistency of some teams (or lack thereof by ours), then that becomes a development issue irregardless of the recruit.

I know his uncle and MB has stated that he really enjoys CLM/CCC. However, he REALLY does want to go to LSU. He loves the college atmosphere in BR. He will keep an eye on the internal politics and see what changes are made - either by this staff or the LSU admin

I agree. It's important, especially in this offense, that the recruit needs to have the fundamentals (footwork, release, looking off the safety, etc.) of the position down before walking into college. Upon arrival, he should be refining those fundamentals, getting used to the speed of play, and learning the playbook.

I hope so.

Is/was he Cameron's top QB target? If yes, that's concerning at this point, of course. But, I like his film and his attitude, and we need a true pocket passer in this class.

Hopefully neither Les or Cam ever get their inept hands on him, even for a 20-minute half time.

Flynn had 215 rushing yards and 4 TDs even when being spelled for option plays by Perrliloux.

You can be a running threat and still be a pro style QB (see Andrew Luck or Aaron Rodgers).

I'm with you BOZ on the coaching change. Had a friend who played at Ole Miss tell me today that Brennan may be one of the best passing qbs to come out of MS in a long time.

With his family's connection and ties to the state and area, there's almost no way he defects from his commitment to the university. This kid is not committed to Les Miles/Cam Cameron, he is committed to LSU

U are so right. And this kid is special. He would sit behind etling next year who I think is a perfect model for Brennan because he's smart and works very hard. Brennan would probably start as a RS freshman or tru soph. He's so comfortable in pro sets he may compete for backup spot as a freshman and may not even get redshirted.
