We did talk to him about playing DE. He seemed open to it last year, I guess he's leaning towards offense now. I think Frank will talk to him and guarantee him that he'll be s receiver and that'll settle it. He'll sign with the Tigers.

I'm close friends with one of Sullivan's cousins who played ball with him, and he told me Sullivan's been debating between lsu and tcu for different reasons. Apparently, tcu offered him immediate playing time if he commits, whereas lsu offers him the chance to play in a program that puts out wide receivers and has great coaching. He's still committed and satisfied with lsu, but the depth chart is supposedly the cause of doubt.

Honestly, I don't think he can go wrong with either. TCU is about to put 2 WRs in the top 3 rounds next year and they run an air raid, so he'll get plenty play time immediately. Plus they will have QB play locked down for the forseeable future (I also think LSU will too, but I know I'm in the minority).

Supposedly Sullivan was 75% committed to LSU several weeks ago...never heard that before...figured it was 100% or nothing...definitely having 2nd thoughts

IMO I don't think Sullivan is the recruit GP was referencing in his talk. Frogs have been working on a recruit from an in state rival for a couple weeks and I think that's the one we've been keeping under wraps. Sullivan being on campus (Tcu) 4 times does make me hopeful especially w LSU depth. ... But, sounds like he may just be flirting a little... Which we are used to!!

Makes sense. I don't think Sullivan would have silently committed to TCU, while showing up to the LSU camp decked in LSU gear a couple days later.
