I just don't understand why you would like them more when Johnny is gone and Evans, and Molena? Their O will be dogshit; granted we are still unproven on offense but I think we have a MUCH better shot at being great than A&M.

I'm not sure. but if 504 Soulja says he likes them, he likes them (and he's made that clear for quite a while now).

I'm just wondering what LSU has to show to make them more attractive to Speedy.

One guess I would make is that TAMU's staff is younger, and it's no secret that Sumlin himself is a very personable guy. Just like LSU players love playing for CLM, TAMU kids love playing for Sumlin. Both embrace the "father figure" role too.

Johnny Football has not declared for the draft and did not ask for a pro stock evaluation. You know they are telling Speedy JFF is staying.

I can't imagine he stays, but he could.

Comments like this just kill me. Is it just hate or wishful thinking? Sumlin has been part of good, successful passing offenses everywhere he has gone. He's also had good offense with different types of QB's

On top of that we have seen plenty of "system" offenses that succeed regardless of the QB. Whether A&M becomes a legit contender in the SEC or a perennial 8-4, slightly better version of Arkansas will be seen, but as long as Sumlin is the coach, their offense will be very good and throw it around a ton.

What in the hell would he like better about TAMU?

Sumlin, its not a place everyone has been saying he will go to for 4 years? Recruits are not fans and don't have the same loyalty / hate we do.

No disrespect 504, but I really think people are starting to build suspense for Speedy's announcement. Just think back when Noil kept posting a Top 3 that didn't even include LSU, yet everyone maintained and insisted that he was all LSU.

Also, I know package deals rarely work out, but from what I've read, I truly believe Willis and Noil play their college ball together at LSU.

Definitely going to throw it around. Sumlin offense aren't exactly known for a power rushing attack from the RB's. Hell there isnt much production from their RBs period. Crazy considering how good Trey was coming out of high school

I loved Trey Williams coming out. Les made a run at him, but he stuck with A&M. Seems like they ran a little more in 2012, maybe they were just behind more this year, I don't remember. Certainly a lot more shoot outs.

504. I have a friend that does games in Nola area. He talks to the coaches. He says speedy is already a silent.

Regardless. ATm just lost their Nola recruiter.

I'm sorry, but speedy is all LSU.

Sumlin is a good guy and all but wish I was Speedy. I will pick LSU over A&M all day.

Yeah.. Speedy Noil is going to LSU unless he has a change of heart at the last second. Some close to the situation have been saying this for about 3 months now.

The LSU 247 guys mentioned Frank Wilson has been making Speedy even more of a priority then he already was (which of course was extremely high). Do you know anything about that or if it's making progress?

Right, but being apart of a good college offense =/= NFL pay day. LSU even with shitty offenses still got their WR's pay days. Reuben Randle, Brandon LaFell, Russell Shepard, Trindon Holliday.

Now, if we keep a similarly productive offense to what we had this year the pay days could come in even more for our WR's. I look for our offense to never hit the lows they hit with Jefferson at QB ever again. I look for Anthony Jennings to come out throwing the ball hopefully every bit as much as Mett. I hope we don't take a Jordan Jefferson Peach Bowl (it was the Peach bowl still) approach where he throws a meager 15-20 times and gets put in set QB read options, options, or just QB sneaks.

excellent... awesome actually... point. Take note Speedy!!!

Sumlin in his second year; Cam in his first. Which offense improved? that would be a secondary point.

I'm hoping Jennings has an excellent day Jan 1st and that's the nail in the coffin to the TAMU love.

Shepard was undrafted and Holiday was picked as a kick returner. So that's not exactly a ringing endorsement.

Talented players will get drafted from anywhere.
