Can you not see Bama's angle?
It's a Win/Win for Saban...No matter what he'll get credited for "pulling" a kid out of Louisiana
If he turns out to be good it's a win...
If he turns out to be a bust, Saban will merely process him like the others.

Is Slade Bolden really that good? It seems he is getting Cam Robinson level of attention on this board which seems a little unwarranted.
He's just not that big. If he's 5'10", I'd be shocked. Is he a good player, yes, he is. Does it matter if he attends LSU? No, it does not.
I'd like to see him choose LSU but that isn't going to happen. He's going to devalue his future brand in Louisiana IF he chooses Bama.

Sabah isn't recruiting a kid for that. He thinks he can play

Never said he couldn't play, just that he isn't the typical Saban WR recruit. Saban has a win/win opportunity and is willing to roll the dice.

Bama will take their smallest class in a decade this year and they're not leading for a lot of top guys. Theyre not rolling the dice on anybody and I doubt he cares he is from Louisiana. Its not a big loss for LSU, but obviously Alabama likes him.

I'm so ready for the bolden saga to be over with. We have no reason to be upset over him going to bama because we are going to sign studs at slot WR. I just don't see him as a fit in their offense at all. Maybe I'm wrong.

Bama is going to clean up by signing day

Bama's OC laid out a full plan on the visit on how he wants to use him they want him bad. I feel as most of you did before he dropped LSU that if used right he'll be a great player in college. If he ends up there he'll be a great get

The new Bama OC is use to having a short white guy as a slot receiver. It's like Linus' blanket.

It was clear when he made up excuses why he wasn't interested in LSU. The few Louisiana kids who deflect feel the need to justify then not liking LSU before the go elsewhere.
Just grow some and say why you like the other place rather than finding a way to make LSU seem like they did something to you. Pretty funny actually.

That is too bad, and I would rather see him at TCU, given the choice is between those two schools?
How do we know his best sport is not baseball? I thought Bolden was projected as at least a college prospect in that.

Missing out on Bolden stings, he is grossly underrated & it will show wherever he ends up.
It's not a coincidence that the person recruiting him the hardest coached Welker, Amendola, and Edelman and oh btw has 5 Super Bowl rings.
There is no bigger LSU fan then me but reading this thread makes it clear why LSU is having a hard time in NE LA. I just hope to God he chooses TCU.

So I should want this dude because he's white like they are and can play the slot? Stop
1. Daboll was the TE coach for New England
2. The one thing that all those receivers struggle with is the deep ball. They are shifty and kill on short routes, but don't always possess the speed to break away like Tavon Austin, TY Hilton, and Antonio Brown. Who are all shorter in stature like them. (This is why they traded for cooks and keep guys like Chris Hogan on the roster to stretch the field)
3. Alabama signed Johnathan Taylor a woman beater; who after he signed beat his gf again. Should we have signed him because Bama wanted him?
4. Slade is a good player, but if you put his film against provens I'd say they are about even or Provens has the edge because he looks more explosive.

If he commits to Bama he will be bumped up to a 4 star
If he commits to TCU he will remain a 3 star
